On this episode of Be Unexpected Wyatt and Jake interview current Omaha Westside student-athlete and future Nebraska Cornhusker Tristan Alvano. People might know Tristan from his incredible performance in the 2022 Class A State Championship game against Gretna, but there is so much more to his story!

Tristan dives into many topics about his personal life and life on the football field. He specifically talks about the process of his recruitment and how being recruited as a high school kicker is not glamorous, but a very important role on the team. Because of his God given gifts Tristan has gotten to travel around the country on multiple recruiting visits and kicking camps. Through all of this Tristan has leaned on his family, friends, and Coach Moravec (Westside Coach) for support. One thing Tristan left us that really stuck out was "embrace the whole journey because you will never know when it will end"
