After a definitely planned hiatus, Basketball Court is back in session, this time diverting Steph Curry from the Warriors to the Timberwolves in the 2009 Draft. Will Steph's shoe deal survive? How many titles will the Thunder win this time? And what does all this have to do with the Chicago Cubs? Peter, Miles, and Sam answer all these questions — and many others that you'd absolutely never think to ask.

We may be a little late to March Madness, but in this episode Basketball Court tangles with the ramifications of Coach K taking the vacant Lakers job in 2004. Logically, the bulk of the episode is spent discussing Smush Parker's career, the 2000 Subway Series, and how law school grades are handed out.

Following the cataclysmic Boogie trade of this weekend, Basketball Court convenes an emergency session to ask whether the Kings or Nets have a better five years ahead of them. After agreeing that both teams are very bad, Sam and Miles have a lively discussion that includes extensive discussion of John Salmons' travel habits and Rihanna's podcast preferences.

Basketball Court returns to the mid-90s in this episode, asking a question that has bothered Knicks fans for two decades: what if Patrick Ewing has made that finger roll? Special guest judge Yaron Weitzman joins for a rollicking discussion that encompasses Shaq's movie career, whether Ewing's sneakers are ugly, and (of course) KD resigning with the Thunder.

Our first episode of 2017 revolves around Sam’s least favorite topic: the Harden trade. Special guest counsel Rob Mohen joins Sam and Miles to argue about a trade that changed Oklahoma City forever. Along the way, Sam discusses his Twitter fight with Curt Schilling, Miles coins a new phrase, and Rob posits a nightmare scenario where Stephen A. Smith replaces Sam on the podcast.
