First of Jonathan excellent podcast. Love the insights you and your guest’s give, especially for doubles.
Yes even from Mr Ram. (As you can guess from my handle I’m a former Umpire…and he could be a handful at times)

Great Episode!
This latest episode is super helpful for club players. Anytime a guest says incessantly “ that’s a great question “ it’s telling. I felt like 80% of the questions dealt with things that can 100% impact my club matches. Well done!!

Great tennis content
This is my favorite tennis podcast by far. Almost all of the guests that Jonathan brings on the show have something helpful listeners can learn from. As a high school tennis coach I can’t count how many of the tips I’ve heard in this podcast that I have shared with my players.

For tennis optimizers
I recently came across this show and now I don’t miss an episode. Jonathan is fast-paced, smart, and lets his guests do the talking. Plus his voice sounds like my friend Nico, so it feels like I’m listening to a buddy :)

So good!
As a 4.0 club player, and fairly new to Tennis, this podcast is golden!

Dealing with lobs
Great podcast for recreational players
Question / suggestion for topic:
How to deal with lobbing opponents in (mix) double at the 3.5 / 4.0 (7.0/8.0) level when you are not confident with overheads?
I see it quite a bit of lobbing especially in the 3.5 level.

Such a valuable podcast!
Jonathan is so clearly focused on helping tennis players (esp recreational) get better and get more out of their game. He asks great questions and is just a pro at how he treats guests and listeners.

The Best Podcast
If you want to be better at tennis :Listen/Learn from this podcast!!
There is no other podcast with so much insight from the players that are actually doing IT!
Too many podcasts are simply regurgitators with nothing to add!! But how about: x/y axis for volley position or strengthen your big toe!!
And don’t forget the golden rules of doubles:
Practice your overheads!! And cover the middle!
Jonathan is the best!!

Play smarter tennis
I’ve been listening to podcasts since they started, and this is one of the best I’ve heard. If you play tennis at the recreational level, you will benefit from listening to this. You will learn the value of being consistent, and the value of being opportunistic, particularly in doubles. The episodes are timeless, so if you like to play tennis, I recommend you do as I did, and go back to listen to each one. Mr. Stokke is passionate, and loves the game. He’s extremely consistent with the advice he provides. He books a variety of excellent, informative guests. And, for a tennis pro, he’s an amazingly good interviewer. He’s very prepared for each podcast, and he LISTENS to his guests. Count how many times guests will say, “That’s a great question.” Each episode provides excellent show notes, allowing you to go precisely to the subject that interests you most. Each episode includes this question: “What’s your best advice for the 3.5 or 4.0 tennis player?” And, Mr. Stokke sticks with the subject matter, spending very few words promoting anything else he’s doing. If you’re a tennis player, you can’t find a better podcast to improve your play.

Good but..
Interesting informational podcast. The guests Stokke brings on are very good and bring helpful insights to all aspects of the game. The only part I find grating is that, in almost every episode, Stokke feels need to explain how he himself already does what guest is recommending. It’s borderline pathological.

This really couldn’t be any better
As a lifelong tennis player, I wish I’d heard the advice shared on this podcast 45 years ago. There’s nothing better online. I’ve checked.

Psychology and mental health applied through tennis
I don’t give anything- any product, and podcast, and person - five star ratings, but Baseline Intelligence earns it. This is my favorite tennis podcast because it mixes pro player, coach, and sports-adjacent professional personalities and perspectives, and Jonathan Stokke has a pretty good interviewing style that makes everything seem like an easy and natural conversation ( go listen to old episodes and see how he’s improved). I get the sense that he seems like a guy that is taking his lifetime of tennis experience and connections and using it to make the rest of us better- there is nothing self aggrandizing or egotistical about the interviews, and he never “name drops” in an annoying way. While it’s true that if I didn’t like or play tennis then I probably wouldn’t have found this podcast, I’m so glad I did. It’s giving me mental health improvements that I never saw coming.

Great stuff.
Johnathan cover aspects of tennis not covered by other coaches. Everyone covers stroke mechanics but Johnathan cover more mental issues not found elsewhere. I love it.

Great mindset
Excellent interview and really appreciate you always applying the pro tips to club player situations, such as a partner with a weak serve etc.

Excellent pod!
I’m a long-time listener, and I have definitely improved my tennis through listening to his tips, especially the ones on doubles and the ones on the mental game. You will enjoy Jonathan’s personality, style, and interesting guests.

Functional content
Invest in some proper audio equipment. Audio quality is so poor it’s hard to understand without turning up the volume way too high.

The podcast is awesome. Period. If you want to get better at tennis, you listen to Jonathan every 2 weeks, you learn, and apply it to your game.

“Get better at tennis without picking up a racquet”
Jonathan genuinely cares about his tennis community and strives to deliver actionable advice with each and every episode. The questions he asks of his guests are always spot on and really help the listener drill more deeply into the topic at hand. Every tennis player who genuinely is devoted to improving their game should put @stokketennis in their bag.

This is a great podcast aimed at the club player that wants to get better. Every podcast gives me actionable ways to improve the strategic and mental aspects of my game. My Favorite Tennis Podcast
This is my favorite Tennis podcast for several reasons.
1. Johnathan is a great interviewer and knows who his audience is and asks questions to help his audience become better tennis players.
2. Johnathan has some amazing guests that are able to translate top level performers, and what they do into helping recreational, but serious, players.
3. I have received many great tips, but one example is more realistic targeting. By making my targets in a better location as he described, I’m hitting fever balls out keeping rallies going longer and ultimately winning more points! Thanks, Jonathan!

Improved my tennis
This is such a great podcast for the tennis player who is looking to improve their game “without even hitting a ball.” I learn something every episode, usually multiple things, and I have found myself looking at the game differently and the seeing results. The topics are great and the interviews are interesting while also pulling teaching information from the guest. I started following on instagram and youtube just so I could get more content because the only negative I would share is that I’m always left wanting more. Great job. Thank you.

My favorite technical tennis podcast
This is my #1 go-to podcast for actionable tips. Jonathan’s questions are insightful and specific. He focuses not just on technical, but also mental and strategic. I love his summaries at the end.

Jonathan does a great job of having a variety of guests to discuss everything from techniques, mental , strategy, and everything else you can think of. The best part is that the information is targeted for the recreational/club players, so we can improve our games. Very insightful and entertaining. I can’t wait for the next episode week after week.

Hands down, THE podcast for people who love playing tennis
I can’t say enough great things about Jonathan’s podcast. His approach to the game is so helpful, and I’ve learned so much from his podcasts (and IG and YouTube). He has awesome guests from all corners of the sport (former and current players, coaches, subject matter experts, etc) and they are all world class in their field. He asks great questions and always makes sure the episodes are useful for recreational players of all levels. I am always looking forward to listening to new episodes because each one has been so useful.
There are a lot of instructional-focused coaches creating content, but he’s simply the best. There isn’t a better podcast out there for people who love playing tennis and improving their game.

Stokke and his guests rock.
Great convo and dialogue for new and advanced players.
For those who practice mindfulness/self-awareness, the show brings great mindset tips and what incorrect beliefs to consider changing.
For those who like data/analytics, the show also has elements of quantitative analysis to better understand the why’s.
Listen to it regularly and it’s my favorite tennis podcast.

The Stokke Effect is real
Listening to Stokke’s podcast is like enrolling in a tennis academy, I literally improved from a UTR 4 to UTR 8 over a year listening to this podcast.

Tennis aficionados only
This is the best podcast if you love tennis and want to learn about the game. Jonathan brings in such an amazing talent pool from current/past pro players to mental/physical coaching methods. He even covers doubles with guest which is a very under discussed topic in the tennis world. He even makes sure to apply the newly acquired principles into tangible every day players too (3.5/4.0 player). This isn’t just High Performance based but if you want to learn something about the game you MUST listen!

Best Tennis Podcast for Elevating Your Game
This is easily my favorite podcast for accessing helpful, highly credible and easily digestible content. I played tennis competitively as a kid up until 18, then stopped playing for my entire adult life. After 30 years off the court I recently rediscovered my love for the game when my son started playing and we regularly play and drill. Back in full force now, playing tournaments and at my club, BaseLine Intelligence has helped me get my game back and progress faster and in ways I wouldn't have anticipated. Jonathan's coaching tips are incredibly practical and applicable. His guests are awesome. I'm always looking forward to the next episode. Keep it going!!

Great content
Far and away the best “instructional” podcast I have found. The content is consistent, current and reliably brings to light something I’d not considered trying in my own matches.

My favorite tennis podcast
This podcast is not about tennis news or results from ongoing competitions. It’s about sharing experiences from players and coaches. It’s a true gold mine. This podcast is the really the best of it’s kind. It truly makes you a better tennis player without hitting a tennis ball. Thanks Jonathan for your awesome work.

Gold in every episode 🎉
I’m so glad I found this podcast. I’ve known many of these coaches for years and I am still learning from all their nuggets of wisdom. The host asks great questions and most importantly lets his guests talk. I can’t recommend this resource enough for high performance coaching. You will be a better player and coach just by listening. Thanks for sharing.

Great content!
I really enjoy the variety of guests on the show. They all offer unique knowledge of the game & are able to keep it real for adult rec players like myself.
I often replay episodes so I can absorb the info. I have even grabbed my racquet from my bag while listening so I could shadow swing along with the coaching!
