I wish I’d found this a long time ago because it would have been so validating to have heard these podcasts in real time raising toddlers and preschoolers BUT I am inspired every time I listen to the show. I have binge listened and as a school board member at a Christian school, there are lots of fantastic nuggets that are shared. It gives me hope for our future generation of students. As a mom, the different supplemental ideas are so valuable for helping bring in even more of the classical approach at home. Thank you for working so diligently at bringing in so many different speakers and ideas. Even the athletics areas are so important for us to hear about!

I love hearing about students making these connections and pondering the big questions of life.

Base Camp Live has been food for my soul for three years, I wish I had discovered it sooner. Davies Owen’s does an incredible job of getting to the heart, the details, of what Classical education is about. This podcast does a great job at exploring topics relevant to living a life worthy of the calling we have received all through the lens of classical education. As a parent to young children, I am so thankful to have this resource. However, I feel like this is podcast holds wisdom for EVERYONE in its episodes, not just classical education parents!

Wish I had learned about this type of education before my children started kindergarten.

I have been in private school education as a teacher and leader for the past twenty years. Recently, however, I have had the opportunity to contribute to one of the larger classical schools in the country in a small role as coach. I love listening to this pod to stay centered on what really is important at my new school. The focus on truth beauty and goodness helps one value what matters most. I also consult with schools trying to find their way and this pod helps inform me as I consult. Davies goes above and beyond to set the stage for the pod with great show notes.

Our son is entering the 7th grade and to see his desire to be in school, his admiration for his teachers and his pride of learning is a joy to see in a 12 year boy!

I look forward to new episodes. I’d like to see this quality content reach a wider audience. It is so helpful in this counter cultural thing we are doing in classical Christian education. Also-thanks for keeping it short. About the length of an average commute. :)

We send our kids to a classical Christian school in Indiana and love it! It has enriched our family so much! Great podcast about the virtues of this type of education. I have started sending it to friends who are considering classical schooling.
