I LOVE the voice. Very entertaining and funny! My fav podcast.

I’ll just read the spark notes next time.

Great concept. Unfortunately the guy has a weird gimmick where he talks like a cross between WWE's Undertaker and Billy Bob from Slingblade. His humor is pretty weak and all over the place. He's done 60 plus episodes so I doubt it will change.

I enjoy The Voice, the Twin Peaks-esque jazz music (bring it back!), and the entertaining commentary about the stories covered. Also kudos for providing trigger warnings. Keep up the good work.

But it's endearing after you you get over the hump. The re-telling of the A Dance With Dragons has made a work day fly! Thank you Banned Library <3

I've sampled three of these podcasts. I gather you're a soon- to- be re-employed Librarian. Possibly, in your line of work, you've read to children -- but I can't imagine even kids being entertained by your faux vampire-voice readings. It's annoying. Are you high? An actor manque? Whatever cause/motivation -- it does not serve your podcast well. And I can't imagine it helping in job interviews. That reading voice alone, will keep you from working anywhere near kids. I might have listened to more for the show's literary content -- but that voice is too creepy.

What nightmares are made of.
