Relatable. Honest. Encouraging.
As a partner of a band member who is preparing for a first time tour, I have felt anxiety, excitement, and just unknown the what ifs. When I stumbled upon this pod cast, I felt seen and comfort in hearing their stories. These ladies are relatable, honest, and it’s so encouraging for us who are going through the similar things. My partner and I are getting married next year, and this podcast gives me perspective that is so helpful. Thank you!

I look forward to Wednesdays.
Finally writing a review for my favorite podcast out right now! Hosts Misha Lazzara and Chondra Sanchez never fail to release an entertaining listen. Seriously, these episodes can help turn a bad day into a good day, filled with smiles and laughs. I look forward to Wednesdays. Upon starting your journey through the Band Wives podcast, you may enter with a certain perception of what a “band wife lifestyle” is. As you continue to hear the pros and cons of being professionally involved in music and arts, or being a partner to those who are, that perception very well may shift. The guests (and the questions they’re asked) allow for a real, raw discussion on very vulnerable human topics. Misha and Chondra allow their guests to elaborate, being fantastic listeners in tandem with guiding the conversation along to natural talking points. There is a great flow which allows for easy binging! It may seem that this is *only* for those who identify as female, but truthfully, this podcast is for everyone. It feels right to reflect on your own life as you hear the stories of others and gain a new perspective. This podcast will make you think and empathize with our fellow humans, as guests who have varying lifestyles are introduced: no experience is the same for everyone. It’s truly been interesting to learn about people from all walks of life! The last thing I’ll touch upon is the idea of magic moments— the duality of looking for them or creating them. These meta discussions have led me to believe that these moments inherently and persistently exist; through their questioning of their guests, the world, and the universe, BandWives helps explain that there is magic everywhere. Misha and Chondra guide listeners though their life experiences. The takeaway is that these hosts can find beauty in places or moments that can often be shrouded with negativity, and sometimes there is beauty in embracing the negativity itself. A powerful sentiment eloquently developed over the episodes thus far. As long as Band Wives continues to make episodes, I’ll continue to be a listener, and I’ll continue to look forward to Wednesdays.

Like having coffee with my girlfriends 💜
Absolutely in LOVE with this show and these women! Every episode is relatable, funny, and heartwarming. Even though we’ve never met, it feels like we’ve been friends for years! You don’t always get that with podcast hosts. Strongly recommend! Also.. could this theme song be any more perfect? Like an early 90s sitcom. *chef’s kiss*

Relatable and entertaining
Love listening to these two smart, hard working independent mamas tell it like it is! Especially with social media sometimes it’s so easy to think you’re not doing your best or all you can do- these two make you understand you’re not alone- you’re doing great. I learn a lot on every episode and find myself laughing alone in my car. Highly recommend

The podcast you didn’t know you needed
As a fan of both their husbands’ bands I loved hearing a new “behind the scenes” look of what their families are up to. Do they go with them?? Do they stay home?? Can you even actually hear the concert very well from the side stage?! Beyond the surface level conversations about logistics and sex lives (wink wink), both of these women are beautifully unique and complex, yet relatable is so many ways. I can’t wait for more episodes to drop!
