Balance Selections 380: Diego Moreira

Diego Moreira has spent more than a decade refining a strain of progressive house built on dark protocols. Since 2018, his releases have carried that approach well beyond his native Argentina, earning regular support across specialist radio, clubs and the wider progressive circuit. Moreira’s music is defined less by obvious peaks than by the way it gets there: fluid, measured and always conscious of the journey. On this Balance Selections, the Argentine delivers a set steeped in those same principles. Originally from Buenos Aires, Agustín Ficarra developed an early connection to music through Argentina’s diverse band culture. That background continues to shape a sound rooted in house and its various offshoots. After establishing himself in the electronic music scene as a DJ, he began producing in 2020. His collaboration with Kabi resulted in the Let You Go EP on Balance Music, with its second track, 'Keep You Close' featured in this mix. It forms part of a growing discography that regularly receives support from leading figures across the scene.
