I really enjoyed the two seasons. I actually looked up nikola and Milton before I listened the last two episodes. I almost didn’t finish the series knowing that there were no consequences to him or his wealth. And that the whistleblowers didn’t get paid out. But I think it’s important to keep in mind not him but the people that worked to bring him down.

This is a great work. I'll look forward to next episod, next senerio something worth to lesen and learn.

WSJ reporting helped bring down a fraudster, and while I lost money on Nikola, it could have been worse. So glad I get to hear a podcast series on the background story now.

When are more seasons/episodes coming out? Can you all let listeners know if you’re no longer keeping the podcast going? This is probably the WSJ’s best podcast, so it’d be great if it kept going.

After all these years I couldn’t recall what the Enron scandal was all about. Thanks for the nice review. As for the Trevor Milton tale, what a guy! I hope there will be more outrageous tales of businesses gone bad.

Nikola series was terrific—excellent job reporting and being human about the stories people were sharing.

I was listening to three of the WSJ podcast regularly, but there are no more new episodes. These were so much better than a lot of what is out now (too much millennial-splaining). Fun to hear the multi episode journalism.

I hope the WSJ makes a third season. This is an intriguing podcast telling the stories of business fraud through the voices of those who experienced it first hand

This is one of my favorite podcasts. Can’t seem to find any information on whether there will be a 3rd Season. Maybe something on FTX?

Enjoyed rehashing this 20 years after the fact. Enron didn’t pave the way for corporate malfeasance, but it did in the way of modern coverage - the ‘digital’ age, perhaps. Ending with a heart attack in Aspen, go figure…

Terrific story telling. Ben Foldy has a great voice. The episodes roll over smoothly. Love the various (real life) characters - especially the whistleblowers - full of curiosity, determination and courage. They face down Trevor Milton’s hubris with selfless grace. Don’t want the season to end! (Update- make more please!)

I hadn’t heard of Nikola until this podcast. This is now probably my third time listening to it, it’s so good! The delivery is straightforward, sticking to the facts, not unnecessarily dramatic, but still super interesting because the story itself is so bonkers! I appreciate the time the reporter took to find sources for this story.
