When love goes wrong, Part 1
Abuse leaves scars, you may be able to leave but not unscathed. This episode is a story written by me, about me during a time that was very trying and something I haven't talked about to many. This is not about revenge, vengeance, anger or bitterness. This is about my healing and hoping that others will not go through what I did. I want this to be a story of hope and light.

Episode 4 - Distracted driving caused us to run out of gas.....
Distracted driving isn't just about texting and driving. it's about zoning out, not using attention, eating, reading, grooming, seeing your GPS and so much more. Distracted driving is considered as dangerous as drinking and driving. The consequences are severe. You can get into an accident, have a ticket issued, lose your license and worse, kill someone.  This type of ticket is considered a major ticket and therefore insurance companies do not look at this favourably. They will not allow physical damage coverage on your vehicle...aka no collision coverage.... they will decline to accept your risk. This type of conviction will follow you around for 3 years!!!! So ask yourself, is it worth it?

Episode 3 - Breast Cancer does not discriminate
Regardless of your age, sex and race, breast cancer does not discriminate. You can be a man or a woman and be diagnosed with breast cancer. You can be 20, 30, 40 or 60 and be diagnosed. Yet, the health care system does not recommend regular screening until you are 50 unless you have pre existing conditions.  Mammograms, ultrasounds, thermal imaging and self breast examinations are all ways we can screen for this cancer.  For more information please go to https://screeningforlife.ca/ for more information. Episode 2: Self care is important and comes in many ways
When I think of self care, I think of going to a spa. I'm not sure why but that's what comes up. I'm not sure about you but I don't have to go to a spa as much as I would love to go. I tend to put my self care on the back burner. As a mom and entrepreneur I am so busy looking after others and my business that I "FEEL" I don't have time for myself.  I've learned that self care comes in many forms, it can be as simple as having a nap, going for a walk, having a bath or a shower. For me personally, I like to go for walks, have naps and be creative. This summer I found myself renovating our bathroom, doing fall projects, painting tables, cleaning out the clutter. It felt so good to tackle all the projects, as I felt like I was cleaning out my mind.  My son enjoys building things and fixing things. It gives him a sense of pride and accomplishment.  Thank you for checking out our podcast.  You can also watch the video at https://youtu.be/bYcC4iKOpi4
