Please work on the sound quality of this podcast. I love it, don’t get me wrong. The content is top tier. Several times I’ve noticed Jazz Tangcay’s audio is several decimals louder than everyone else’s. When you’re listening with earbuds, it can be this constant push and pull of adjusting the volume. And then there are times when someone is way too low. I have great hearing so that’s not usually a big problem. Anyway just something to think about. I will, of course, keep listening but it would be nice if someone could work on this. Thanks!

For a podcast ran by variety it’s shocking how bad this is. From a technical standpoint the audio is horrible—cuts out, echos, volumes are uneven. Looking at other reviews it looks like that has been the case for years?? Moderators especially Clayton are full of themselves especially when it comes to awards predictions, yet it feels like they either “predict” the consensus or every possible outcome then claim they’re right. Yikes—get it together variety

Recent interview with Dwayne Johnson you can barely hear Clayton. No idea what questions are being asked.

Great interview but gotta fix this audio quality big time. So much chewing swallowing gulping…. Imbalance in volume …

While I enjoy this podcast, Clayton Davis is rude and talks over the others.

These guys talk to much and talk over each other, they don’t have much to say. I wanted to hear Jean Smart & Hannah talk. They turned me off. Didn’t get to hear Jean.

The insider info is fantastic and though they interview the biggest of names, they’re not afraid to express their views. I listen to a lot of entertainment pods and this one knows their audience and knows the business.

Clayton, please stop talking about yourself and allow the guest to speak.

Podcast cuts in and out. It’s unlistenable. I hope you can fix that.

Clayton makes this podcast unlistenable. Horrible interviewer and annoying voice.

clayton is mortifying. the “x is such a troublemaker” joke is so cringe. stop!!!! and why is jazz even here? says two words each ep.

Clayton Davis…please work on your interviewing skills. I hate to say it but some of your questions, as posed, are completely incoherent. Plus, saying “Cool” or “Awesome” after every thoughtful response from a guest does not a compelling listening experience make. Would love to hear more dynamic conversations between a media-trained host and guests. It’s fine to be extemporaneous and casual so long as you’re putting thought behind your words and articulating them well.

This podcast would be much more enjoyable (and much more listenable) if the hosts were committed to having a discussion about the awards season and less eager to name drop every celebrity they’ve ever said more than 2 words to. This last episode was supposedly meant to include golden globe & critics choice predictions, but instead was dominated by extended references to the hosts’ interviews with, or even simple sightings, of Adam McKay, Barry Jenkins, Halle Berry, Mahershala Ali & countless others. Given that moderating events with these people is part of their job, the endless gushing & fawning over the slightest interactions with people who speak to dozens of journalists throughout the season & wouldn’t recognize you in a crowd is 1) embarrassing 2) derailing the actual content that listeners tune in for. Hearing a host claim, with seriousness, that people are trying to set her up with Mahershala Ali (btw, is this the same host that lied about being friends with the Ted Lasso creator?) was really the last straw. This is not an entertainment journalist podcast, its a celebrity gossip one, so if that’s what you’re looking for I guess you’re in the right place.

IF THERES TOM HOLLAND, U KNOW IM GONNA RATE IT FIVE STARS
