A useful perspective
Influenced both by their age and the region they're from, it's cool to hear a mid-Atlantic take on things, especially since I'm down in the South.
We have different perspectives on our progressivism and that's interesting and cool!

By young people, for young people is exactly right
It's so refreshing to listen to people actually and seriously discussing politics without blaming or poking fun at my generation!

Great way to get your news!
The transition to Griffin as a co-host to Jessi was wonderful, both hosts are passionate about getting the news out there and it's a great way to get your news. In this age of constant information it's easy to miss important news and it's nice to get it from two young hosts who are invested in the state of the world. Great listen!

Informative and fun
One thing that’s really special about this podcast is that it is meant to be a discussion — it’s news-based, but Jessi and Nicole don’t claim to know everything about the topics they discuss and they really showcase their own points of view in these episodes. It’s really great to listen to when you want to understand how others feel about certain political topics, especially if you’re out of touch with Generation Z.
My only criticism is that my ears keep hearing Nicole say her last name is “Avo” for some reason, and I keep waiting for Jessi to say theirs is “Cado” to make “Avocado,” but this never comes and it leaves me feeling thoroughly unsatisfied. :(

Best Podcast I’ve Ever Listened To
I feel so much more cultured when I listen to this podcast. I don’t usually like listening to the news, but Nicole and Jessi keep me entertained and in the loop. Plus they’re super relatable.

This Podcast is So Good I'm Gonna Bust a Nut
Avocado Toast is a charming, informative political podcast that speaks to me as a millenial. A lot of news/political podcasts are kind of dry for someone who speaks primarily in memes so Jessi and Nicole's humor and candor reach me on a soul level while educating not only on current events, but social justice issues of all types. Would recommmend, much love.
