Schadenfreude, or the comfort and satisfaction in someone else's misfortune is a basic human response if you ask me.  "What goes around, comes around," or "it's karma."  All valid statements and something we can all take comfort in at times.  When a professional ( I use that word loosely) betrays his/her profession I believe payback is required.  In this case Taylor Lorenz (the idiot) is reaping exactly what she has sown.
