I am a former DI. Where was this when I was learning the ropes? And why don’t TV writers use resources like this? It’s down to earth, honest, and respectful. I want to know more about the creator; the linked website, Autopsypod.com appears to be an error.

This is my favorite episode. I love the shop talk. All the ins and outs of working together and the gossip hahaha I loved it. Reminds me of my Lab days. I miss those guys. ♥️

I am 13, and I’ve always been fascinated with true crime. I have hopes to be a forensic pathologist and this podcast gives great info on what being in the actually autopsy will be like. Also love how it’s not just cases with male autopsy tech, but there are women too. So inspiring! It’s also not too scary, which is great!

I don’t know how I found this podcast 2 weeks ago but it’s been one to binge. I am a nurse and love true crime so I love the medical aspect I get from listening. I appreciate the time I am sure it takes to find the autopsy reports and the respect you have in reading them. Thank you and keep it up.

This show is so good I just want to binge it. If you love true crime that is well researched, thoughtful and in depth this show is for you! The host is wonderful and love how open and honest about the content this show is. It does true crime in a responsible way that is reflected in all areas of the show. Would definitely recommend this show!

I love the premise of going over an autopsy and applying the findings to a death. The Death Investigator has a great voice, not loud but easily understood. The use of music is not overdone. I’m so glad I found this great and intelligent podcast.

I was so into this podcast from start to finish! The host has a tone about him that made me believe he really cared about the autopsy’s he was recalling and not just regurgitating information. Keep seeking justice and getting the word out there about these cases!

This podcast is extremely interesting and I love how it is based on facts rather than opinions/assumptions that sometimes come with other true crime podcasts. It definitely gets into the “nitty-gritty” details of autopsies while using language that is easy to understand regardless of if you are familiar with medical terms or not. I have listened to this podcast since the beginning and it continues to improve with every episode!

What a quality podcast! That dang heartbeat sound keeps giving me anxiety. The host is very well spoken and enunciates wonderfully. He delivers the story both in a technical manner, and also follows in laymen’s terms. Glad I found this one! -Christine

I’m currently a nursing student, but I can’t get the idea of becoming an autopsy tech out of my mind. Unsure of the career change, I wanted to get some heavier doses of what it’s really like to be in that room. This podcast is such a good insight!!!

Majored in forensic biology and currently work as an autopsy technician, this podcast is everything I could ever want. Insightful, paced well, explanations are spot on and the format is perfect. Can’t wait for the next episode!

I’m so glad this show was recommended to me. The content is really interesting and I love the chatty nature of the host. It reminds me of the way podcasts used to be before many of them became highly popular, highly stylized and highly monetized. Those shows have lost the “relationship” that listeners can sometimes feel with the host. On a personal level, his southern accent reminds me of home, which is currently many many miles away.
