3 Pain Points of Data Annotation in Autonomous Vehicles
If you want to schedule a FREE CONSULTATION CALL with us: https://www.matrickz.de/en/contact.html Matrickz offers a holistic solution to address these pain points from test case definitions, annotation, and automation. We take care of everything. Data annotation is a very important aspect of autonomous vehicles because data is going to be one of its main enablers. There are 2 kinds of data: - Data to train - Data to test In this video, Lucas van Zuylen will join the discussion about the 3 pain points of data annotation in autonomous vehicles: 1. The Regulation & Data Protection 2. The Safety 3. The Time and The Cost By the end of this discussion, you will realize how the automotive industry is really complex and how data annotation works in autonomous driving. Data companies are not safety experts and everything that you don’t annotate for, an AI cannot look for. #autonomousvehicles #dataannotation #annotations #autonomousdriving ============================================== Great news to our followers and automotive enthusiasts! The T-Shaped Engineer
Today we're gonna talk about T-Shaped Engineer. What is T-Shaped Engineer? T-Shaped Engineer is a person who has a broad high-level overview but at the same time they are able to go deep into the technology, at the code level, and they are able to explain things. How can we define a T-Shaped engineer? We can see a T-Shaped engineer if someone is present at various levels of the development cycle. They are good communicators at the very technical level, at the architecture level, at the requirement level, and they can also see the big picture. Engineering is about communication and as we know, communication is an underrated topic in engineering. We believe that engineering is not only about inventing and solving problems even though if the person is really an expert but if he/she can't communicate properly, then it would be trouble for the team sooner or later. That's why it's very important for a company to have a T-Shaped person. Automotive Cybersecurity
It's a very exciting episode for you guys! Today we're going to talk about cybersecurity. With the new era of digitization in the automotive domain, disruption is quite inevitable. Connectivity will make cars more vulnerable to attacks and may take human safety at risk as well. The threat will not be from the driver who is falling asleep, the threat will be from a cyber attacker. Imagine, instead of COVID-19, the virus was a computer virus and it had crippled the entire network of the globe, it will be doomsday! Customers expect security as part of the vehicle, they don't expect to pay extra for cybersecurity and as we know, automotive in a net is 25 years behind the IT infrastructure. With that, I have a great opportunity to discuss with Gilad Bandel, the VP of Product, and Marketing at Arilou Automotive Cybersecurity about how automation is gonna influence cybersecurity, how much is the potential of a cyber weapon, how easy it is to hack a vehicle, why the automotive industry is far behind compared to the IT industry, and many more!
