・The Japanese government decides to give 50 thousand yen per child to the low-income family. Previously, it was for only single mothers and fathers. Because of the long term effect of COVID-19, the government helps those low-income families.
・The people who can receive the funds are
1. The family receiving Child Rearing Allowance(Jidou-fuyou-teate in Japanese)
2. Low-income family
3. Family with rapidly decreasing income.
・Support fund is 50 thousand yen per child.
・The family receiving Child Rearing Allowance can be supported without applying.
They will receive the money in May. The money will be transferred to the same account as Child Rearing Allowance. On the other hand, the family of low-income and with rapidly decreasing income need to apply to receive the fund. They need to apply for each prefecture and city where they live. The government has not announced how to apply and when to get the funds yet. The name of the support fund is “Special Support Fund for Living for Family with Children.” (Kosodate-setai-seikatsu-sien-tokubetsu-kyuufukin)
