These 6 areas include Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Aichi, Gifu, and Fukuoka.The number of people infected by COVID-19 has increased rapidly since last November, but thanks to everyone’s efforts under the state of emergency, the number of newly infected people is gradually decreasing.The end of the state of emergency does not mean all restrictions in daily life are lifted. There are still requests in each area. These requests differ depending on each area.Osaka prefecture asks shops offering food or drinks in Osaka city to close at Kyoto prefecture asks shops offering food or drinks to close at Aichi prefecture asks shops offering food or drinks to close at Hyogo, Fukuoka, and Gifu prefectures ask shops offering food or drinks to close at The shops offering food or drinks include not only restaurants but also other kinds such as cafes, bars, and karaoke boxes. By following the said requests, shops can receive 40,000 yen per day from the government as “cooperation money for shortening the business hour” or 営業時間短縮協力金 (えいぎょうじかんたんしゅくきょうりょくきん・Eigyou-Jikan-Tanshuku-Kyoryoku-Kin). Application is necessary to receive the compensation. After applying, the money will not come in right away because the verifying process will take some time.Events that gather many people, such as sports events or concerts, are now allowed to have a maximum of 10,000 people under the condition to not exceed 50% of its capacity.New foreign nationals are not yet allowed to enter Japan.The government is asking the following things to citizens:・To refrain from graduation trips, Hanami, and farewell parties・To have less than four people to drink or eat together・To wear a mask
