This episode is all about the making of ARC Raiders. We had the wonderful opportunity to chat with Bence Pajor and Olof Strömqvist, core members of the audio team at Embark Studios, back in early September to talk about the development of their multiplayer extraction-adventure coop-shooter.

We discuss about how they got in the business of sounding games, how their past experiences working on Battlefield titles using the Frostbite engine at EA DICE for over a decade prepared them both to join Embark where they had to create the processes and tools that would allow them to create the immersive soundscapes that the studio is known for using Unreal engine on both The Finals and ARC Raiders!

We then talk about the core principles of ARC Raiders and these supported their ambitions, how they collaborated with the rest of the dev team, and so much more!
