It's been a while since I published an episode. Episode 4 was recorded and never published last year due to a few challenges that kept me from podcasting. But as they say; better late than never. Episode 4 of Art 360 might be the last to be published as this series was cut short and the information covered is highly time-sensitive by now if I publish episodes 5 and 6 the content would already be obsolete. However there is a new series in the works, keep an eye out.

In this episode, we go over some of the many challenges facing arts organizations and arts practitioners. Some caused by the nature of society, economy, and politics of the country while others are self inflicted.

Understanding how the arts sector in Uganda and East Africa, in general, requires us to understand some of the major players. In Uganda specifically, there are several arts organizations some specializing in specific art disciplines and others trying to be multi-disciplinary. Join me as I dissect and discuss these organizations as I and many others have seen them other the years.
