Outstanding
Love the content. So inspiring. I’ve looked up quite a few of the featured athletes to follow their journeys. Can’t wait for season 3!

Life lessons
Totally appreciate the stories of the athletes you bring on. The stories are so rich with life lessons and not just how I ran around the world. Thank you

When are you coming back
I absolutely loved this podcast… But you haven’t produced one in several months. Are you coming back or is this podcast being cancelled ?

Athletes Unfiltered, I want more.
It’s a great podcast, I just need more episodes.

Good, but........
Love it and love hearing the stories, but why do they say at the end we’ll be back next week but don’t publish for a long time. I mean the last episode was about two months ago.

Amazing, encouraging and engaging!
I absolutely love this podcast I get excited every time I see a new one is posted! I love that it highlights inspiring but REAL stories. These stories not only allow you to dive into someone’s journey they provide encouragement and motivation to reach while you are on your journey and all the while helping you achieve goals!

Great!
I really like these podcasts and would thoroughly enjoy more of them! I start my day listening to them to keep focus on what I want to pursue and that I can overcome any obstacle!

Let the people tell their story
Too much narration makes the stories seem shallow. Would love if the host would ask questions as the people told their story instead on telling the story for the athletes.

Inspiring
This podcast pleasantly surprised me. The stories of athletes and how they got where they are is truly inspiring. I’ve even gotten my wife to start listening to it with me! It’s production and story telling have me hooked and waiting for each week’s episode. Hilary rocks!

Good content but needs serious work
Good stories, but the construction of podcast itself and the host’s delivery feels very very scripted. Unfortunately this takes all of the emotion and most of the enjoyment out of the listening experience. I’m an avid Strava user and waste excited when I heard they started a podcast, but it’s pretty disappointing. Would suggest they hire someone with a strong background in radio/storytelling to help them improve what could eventually be a great podcast.

Pump your Brakes Strava
I will adjust my rating, once its fixed, but seriously, you can't have a person read from a script. If people are going to read from a script, then simply publish the script and send a link to the article. There is a difference between the written word and a conversation. Reading from a script is wooden and lifeless. If you have a banked ten of these lessons in reading, scrap them. I like what you are going after, and you do have something here, but you have to ditch the Reading Rainbow format. **2-26-2019 unsubscribed. I guess what is going on is that strava pays someone to write a script, that script is then sent to the young woman with strict instructions of, "do not go off script." If the producer(s) have ever taken a public speaking class, the basics are that as the speaker, you know the material, you don't need a script. The spoken word should come off as organic and in the moment. This is wooden and drained of life, not really the spirit of active people. If you go to a meeting, and someone begins to read from notes, all the listeners tune out. Throw away the script.

Great reminder that we are all going through something
Extremely inspiring content about overcoming. Taking it on the chin and keeping going. I am hooked on this podcast.

A suggestion for a topic
Love the podcast. Thanks for making it. Here's a suggested episode topic - busy professionals. It's great to hear about world-class athletes but I think a lot of us working-stiffs struggling to fit our workouts in would appreciate this perspective. For example Dennis Muilenburg, CEO of Boeing, rides 10,000 miles per year. I'd love to hear how he makes that happen.

Great content
I really like this podcast so far. The stories are interesting and I appreciate the variety of topics. I just wish there were more episodes ready for me to listen to!

Overall good
Good stories that I have enjoyed listening to. The host doesn’t sound very natural though. Maybe she just needs to get more comfortable?

Disappointing
I wanted to love this podcast but it feels a bit like a low budget public TV broadcast. Not organic at all and extremely scripted by the host!

Great podcast!
I like this podcast! I don’t know why others are so negative about it?? I really looked forward to the second one after listening to the first and will make it a regular listen on my downtime!

I actually like it
I red the negative reviewes and irritated myself for disappointment. But I actually like it. I need encouragement as I am struggling with sine issues and I'm trying to save my life with a bicycle, so my kids can have a father for longer. This is encouraging to me. I like the format, too. I don't find the interruptions out of place.

Wow just Wow!
I think this podcast is so inspiring.... love all the stories!

Rather filtered!
Stories are inspiring. But unfiltered they are not. Hear more from the host than the athlete interrupting their stories infusing her own assessment of how the athlete was feeling. Really?! Let the athletes tell their own story from start to finish, edit it prior to release so it runs smooth, but let em talk. I want to hear their story. Not the hosts patching sections together with her own commentary.

I know it's just getting started and a lot of what we do in the beginnings of new endeavors stinks. This is certainly no exception. Bad writing, preachy self-help stories read like an after school special. I had low expectations, but this is worse than I imagined. You have loads of money Strava, why this? This is very "my first podcast" but when it's from a big company...unacceptable. You can do better. Do better.

Perfect motivation
Kudos...to the makers of this podcast, not only for putting a very human face behind the Strava network but also for providing an incredible motivation for getting kitted up and heading out there for that early morning ride in the dark. Great stories, keep them coming 👍🏻

Thankful for this Podcast
I’ve been using the Strava app for four years now. Running has helped me process and cope with things in my life and has been a great teacher. It’s awesome to hear these episodes about how running has also changed people’s lives! Keep up the great work, Strava!

Inspiring Podcast
First two episodes of Strava’s Athletes Unfiltered podcast are excellent. Hillary Allen is a great narrator and the stories are truly inspirational. I really enjoy the stories of other runners and cyclists and all the things they have overcome. I’m definitely hooked!

New Runner
As a new runner, I was hoping to fall in love with this podcast, but it is definitely NOT up to the standards I expect from Strava. It’s stale, and you can “see” them reading from a paper, script, cue card, whatever. It feels very unnatural. I’m hopeful that everyone’s criticisms will be taken into consideration and that Strava will continue to improve this amazing opportunity for such an inspirational outlet!

Want to hear from athletes not narrator
Cool concept but horrible execution to start. There were, what seemed to be, amazing stories but the narrator’s cut ins and basically stating emotions for a person ruined the human element. I’d suggest letting us hear directly from the athletes and not just snippets with overlay of how it was interpreted by the host.

It has a long way to go
The awesomeness of the Strava app created high expectations for this podcast that unfortunately were not met. This feels more like the first time somebody tried to make a podcast, rather than the well designed and well constructed experience of the Strava app. Most memorably, the narrator sounds like she was reading a script and regularly injected artificial inflections that detracted from the listening experience. I had to turn it off ten minutes into the episode. Strava is definitely into something with its subject matter and I would love to see this improved. But like any endurance sport it will take a lot of practice before it’s ready for prime time.

I’m hooked
This is fantastic & I can’t wait for more. As an athlete who has endured some very challenging injuries (mountain biking 🙄) this speaks deep into my soul. Well done Hillary & Strava!
