Angelo Gio Mateo is a storyteller, an advocate, and a community builder. He is a proud Filipino-Canadian immigrant from Toronto. He’s an aspiring policy professional but dreams about being a filmmaker, or maybe opening up his own coffee shop. On At The Corner, Angelo brings to life stories about music, film, politics, policy, sports, and, of course, life. It’s his “Speakers’ Corner”: a space for him to share his thoughts and ideas – or perhaps a void to scream into. He’s always interested in bringing new perspectives and insights.
