This podcast is the best way to keep up with concerns about civil liberties in the U.S. today.

I wanted to comment on the podcast with trans youth. It is devastating that there are hateful people in power trying to suppress basic human rights of already marginalized individuals in this country. I wanted to comment and show my support as an ally and cis woman. I have a few clients who are trans and/or gender queer and it is important that I show support and advocate. I will do anything I can to speak out about the hatefulness occurring.

Your episode on the barrage of anti-transgender laws was so well done. It’s easy to fall into despair at so much Republican led hate in our country. But your podcast was able to both educate listeners on the frightening scourge of anti-trans legislation while at the same time providing motivation to fight back.

My first listen and as always the ACLU has the facts and lays them out so we understand. Excellent but heartbreaking.

I thoroughly appreciate this series and missed you in August. Welcome. Back. I suggest you end with “If you appreciated the show” instead of “If you enjoyed the show.” I can’t say I enjoy the heartbreaking stories you tell or the desperate need for action, but I always appreciate being informed and moved.

Sleeveless undershirts for men, calling them ‘wife beaters,’ continues to perpetuates inappropriate sexiest language and dress code’s, exactly what this young lady is talking about/fighting against…

You people are so horrible for what you’ve done to me .. I have a daughter. I’ve suffered for years in silence to protect people globally and even genuinely prayed for you .. people are putting food in there kids mouth from my pain and shame .. Nothing good in life will come to you … I’ve never seen a blood money story in history play out right .. fantasy or reality.. not once .. this would’ve never happened if I were white .. make it right with me that it may be well with you and yours .. not a threat .. asking you to help us all cause you can never sweep me under the rug . Why jeopardize your profit or well being when all I want is some of MY money back , a very small fraction in comparison… I know italics and all your gloomy portals and I’ve made safety provisions for me and you .. my well being is Americas insurance .. this is one of the biggest scandals in history

This podcast sounds like an extended npr segment. Completely low-t. The word liberty needs to be struck from the title. These people are absolute statist, murder-cult worshipers and should be embarrassed to use the word liberty.

The aclu is totally dead. Their last episode on the second amendment was absolutely disgusting. There was a day they believed in the constitution and individual rights.

So happy I discovered this podcast! And so grateful for all the amazing work the ACLU does to help protect our civil liberties! 💕

The Dec 3, 3020 interview by Molly Kaplan was excellent. The speaker was very articulate and Molly managed that part well. But what Molly did was show great insight to the issues covered and proposed thoughtful and provocative questions that added greatly to the conversation. Jim

This is not the brussel sprouts of podcasts. Not only important and good for you but also enjoyable and very interesting. There are challenges but there are victories as well and we can use both to help us lobby our legislators and create a more representative government.

I can tell you that's exactly what i got and i've listened to every episode to date. Really puts things into perspective and puts issues in the forefront.

Super interesting interviews that go in depth into not just the latest news. It’s insightful, kind, and passionate as well as being personal and powerful.

This podcast is a great look at the inner workings of the ACLU. They frequently interview ACLU staff and keep you up to date on what’s happening in their litigation.

Facts and opinions that matter to all of us.

Of all the news analysis that I have read and have listened to, this is hands down the most informative. Don’t let the title of any episode put you off. The discussion between the moderator and one or more ACLU attorneys helps clarify what the issue is, how it has evolved, and what avenues the ACLU is following to address the problem. #ACLUhasOurBack

Great show! Lee asks great questions, but still let’s all her guests speak.

Lee does an incredible job of asking direct, pointed, necessary questions to elicit background info and a current state picture of these critical issues of the day. I learn something from every podcast!

This podcast is excellent. Each episode is tightly focused and intriguing. I highly recommend for anyone interested in a civil liberties and politics podcast.
