My favorite quote of hers is “hopes and dreams without a plan are just wishes” and particularly in 2025 she just is honest about her truth and keeps going, keeps planning and adjusting and I love listening because she believes in the power of the people and shares her plan so I can get my consciousness raised and keep going head up and strong hearted.

Can you do a podcast just on Maurice Mitchell’s discussion of Black Politics as a model that successfully integrates Conservative viewpoints?

I appreciate Assembly Required for taking on difficult topics in a way that is both rational and human. Stacey brings both heart and mind to each topic. I especially value the weekly suggestions for ways to act on the information provided. I share my favorite episodes with fellow activists and friends whom I hope to activate. Keep up the great work!

As always, Stacey tells us what we need to know if we are to help make this world more just. As the Prophets wrote, Justice has been a requirement mandated from our Creator. As the Sun and the rain fall on all without borders or prior requirements, so must we treat our fellow creatures with fairness. With compassion and respect.

Stacy, you have been one of my very favorites for many years now. I sincerely appreciate your superior intellect, your graceful eloquence, and your diplomatic civility. Even in the light of what you have endured, you remain unflappable and even-keeled. What a fascinating episode with Dr. Erica Chenoweth! This is one, smart, impressive woman! (My first master degree in social psychology from Texas A&M is why her work resonates so soundly with me.) I had already learned about the 3.5% rule, so hearing Dr. Chenoweth unpack it even further was helpful indeed. Given my deep knowledge of Scripture, I also already knew that a remnant is always called out and extricated by Divine Providence from the reigning malevolence to own their behavior and attitudes, to repent, and to join the Resistance. The way she unpacked it though was truly enlightening for me. I guess that I’ve never thought of those who have seen the light as “defectors.” Choosing to be deceived must be resisted at all costs, so anyone who has an epiphany is to be admired and commended. Enjoyed the episode on fashion. Please note that Zelenskyy was speaking about wearing a suit. The Russian and likely Ukrainian word for a full suit is kostume. He wasn’t being disrespectful. He noted that a suit was not appropriate at the time. I am wondering if Americans thought he was making fun of wearing a suit when he simply was using his native language to express the clothing he wasn’t ready to wear. He did not mean the idea of ‘costume’, which is something worn currently by the Portland Frog.

This was an interesting discussion. Stacey pointed out that Trump isn’t the sole driver of our trip back in time. The Republican Congress is complicit in indulging his worst impulses. He’s allowed to move ‘fast’ because his sycophants have ceded their power. Democrats had the opposite: Manchin and Sinema who prevented progress. We need more leaders committed to speedy progress.

She possess a depth of socio-political understanding. she is applying her knowledge for human flourishing. Astonishing
