Soul stirring …. the solutions proffered are so real and so true as the problems identified! The issue is that this is NOT a “to do list “ or a “7 steps to”…. If we go about it that way it will become legalism. These will never be our realities until they flow out of a DEEP INTIMATE relationship with God.

This podcast has been helpful to me when I’m tempted to become embittered and hard of heart during difficult seasons in my life.

My girlfriend and I are having children and not married. I am a Christian. Baptist by faith. It is acceptable to be dating these days to have a pregnant girlfriend. We do not live together as I enjoy dating. I have got my girlfriend pregnant four times and keep her pregnant. I am I wrong in not getting married?

I have enjoyed and benefited from Pastor John’s ministry for several decades now. I appreciate his humility and candor and just the way he reverences Scripture. As the years tick by I am increasingly blessed by the fruitfulness of John Piper…and challenged to continue to follow his example. Also, thanks to Tony Reinke for adding his contributions to this podcast. What a great combination! I am thankful for you both. Lastly, the format is perfect for my taste- brief answers but enough content to answer with substance.

When I encounter a tough faith question and can’t find my answer, it’s usually in one of these episodes. He supports everything with strong evidence from the Word of God and leaves me wanting to seek God passionately.

Could y'all speak to the subject of missionaries attending a local church. Actually, does the mandate "Not forsaking the assembling together" Heb 10:25 apply to missionaries? Does their home/sending church fulfill the mandate or should full time missionaries be in a local church?

Great podcast for growing and seasoned Christians alike! Love hearing insight from a great godly man. I wish there were new episodes every day- can’t get enough!

Short and to the point. Biblical truth spoken in love.

I love the way this podcast has no fear in speaking truth into this dark world. I appreciate the “quick hitters” in my week that remind me that the truth is not something to be ashamed about in darkness. Thank you for all you do to center us in Gods word on a variety of practical earthly topics!

More people & podcasts are talking these days about the things Jesus taught (in the 4 gospels), but there are a few of his teachings that almost never get serious coverage. Several references (EXCLUDING the “rich young ruler”) are made in Luke about selling all of one’s possessions & giving to the poor and then this teaching is shown to be taken seriously by the time we get to the book of Acts (end of chapters 2 & 4). Another powerful & often neglected paradigm-changing (IF taken at face value) teaching of Jesus is found in Mt. 6:24; Lk. 16:13-14). This has been called the “Two Masters teaching”, one being God/Love and the other/opposite one being money. What would Christianity look like, both inside its confines and to the world at large, if these teachings were given much more serious consideration and application? Take a leap of faith and dive deep into these teachings! ✌🏼

As a young adult in today’s culture, I am encouraged and eager to listen 3 times a week to APJ because they are great quick encouraging questions that are rooted in Biblical truth. John Piper amazingly goes deep in such a short podcast. It’s been a great resource that has blessed my friend group and we actively share this podcast amongst another! It has also been a huge factor in helping us find reformed doctrine and has blessed us abundantly in our faith.

Lots of wisdom from a man of God whom I can trust.

Piper is truly an amazing preacher and Bible teacher. His teaching on scripture have impacted me so much over the years. I love his passion for Christ and I love how his joy in Christ shows in his teaching, preaching, and his life.

I love Pastor John. The Holy Spirit lead me to Pastor John via YouTube after God saved me. I am in awe of how God is leading me to righteous men and women of God. Randomly came upon pastor John, Allen Parr, R.C. Sproul, John MacArthur and others. Forever grateful.

Pastor John gives responses to real and applicable problems and questions that many Christians face. This podcast is interesting, and Pastor John teaches from the Bible.

If you could see spiritual warfare in the way you can see physical warfare, Pastor John would be the pilot of the newest and most deadly model aircraft. He strikes with precision and force by harnessing the power of scripture in these short, efficient, and effective podcasts. Long reign King Jesus! May He continue to use His servant Pastor John for the glory of His name!
