Independent fact based media is so important in this age of biased traditional media. Jane and Greg are factual and fun! Civic Media is a great source for local WI news and national news.

This show is unlike anything else I have found covering Wisconsin. Kristin covers such a wide range of topics, some very serious but some very silly. Every episode I learn something and laugh, sometimes even at the same time. It’s a little weird as a podcast since it’s also a live radio show but you get used to it.

Favorite part of my day is listening to this show! Very knowledgeable and interesting topics! Keep up the good work!

Funny and useful. She manages to make serious topics lighthearted and fun. Love the guests as well.

Kristin does an excellent job of approaching news with a local angle that also sometimes expands its scope. But she uses comedy and an ability to include all sides of the topics to expand the show to a wide audience. Very fun to listen to and she is a delight!

I love this podcast! It's both local and national, funny and serious. Highly recommended if you're tired of the extremes.

As Goes Wisconsin is a delightful breath of fresh air in an otherwise toxic political radio landscape. Unapologetically progressive, the show seeks to move Wisconsin forward one joke at time. Show creator Kristin Brey and producer Jane Matenaer give space to lesser heard voices and issues with a mix of the serious and the silly. After all, despite our differences, we are human beings and neighbors. The show helps reminds us (even this NY transplant) what makes Wisconsin such a great and unique place to live. Local news on the happenings in Madison is so scarce nowadays with every news station just doing weather, crime, and national news that doesn’t effect us… I’d like you thank the team at As Goes Wisconsin for their focus on Wisconsin and all the happenings that effect us. I’d love if you guys could do an interview with Dan Kaufman author of The Fall of Wisconsin to highlight our progressive past and maybe ways we could get back to being a state that leads the nation FORWARD.
