Entertaining, insightful, and actionable! 🔥
What makes this show a true standout is the quality of the guests, their stories, and actionable tactics. The ADO team finds speakers that truly care about being a positive force in the DevOps space, and no matter the subject, you’re guaranteed to gain something from every episode - can’t recommend this show enough! 🙌

I spose the one good thing about listening to this podcast is that you don’t have to go to first week of sxsw to meet incompetent tech workers, you can just listen to them here.

You don't know what you're missing!
I have a strange place in this world. I'm not in the tech sector - but I want to move there. I am a nurse. I will admit I've been around as long as technology (not really, but I was born in the early 70s). I've seen some sh!$, and I was taught years ago (before the advent of windows) to disassemble and reassemble hardware. I know about tape drives and rooms with climate control. I have progressed with technology and I genuinely believe that what happens in tech innovation also happens in other parts of the world. This does not stop me from being a nurse - but I recongize there is a world bigger than me out there. Arrested DevOps has helped me really embrace these things in ways I never expected. For instance, I could tell Max Stratton that I'm a SysAdmin at heart. He'd probably say Bull Sh!t, but in the best possible way! I started listening to episodes from #1, but about 2 years in, I fast forwarded to present and started to work my way back. I look at the early episodes as "historical documents" and they are invaluable. I am looking to move into some sort of tech sphere (I have a Masters of Nursing in Informatics, though I have only worked directly with patients). For me, the information expands how I currently view the world (as one where siloes need to be removed) and where practice meets theory. Whether you are in healthcare or strictly IT - this podcast is gold.

Great podcast!
... but I'd like to be able to access all episodes. It appears only the last 16 are listed in the feed as of yesterday.

Awesome conversation
I literally had no clue was DevOps was but a Facebook article prompted me to do some research. I've just recently started working in the tech industry and now I finally feel like I can chat around the water cooler. Everyone I work with is always trying to one up each other, find the next best tech thing. I swear sometimes these people are just making up words so that those of us not as seasoned get to feel so out of place. This podcast breaks it down, I feel like I learn 3 new things each episode. The other day I went to work and walked over to a cluster of cubicles not far from mine. The three guys that sit there always make me feel like I don't belong, so I started talking about something that happened on this podcast. They all were like, we listen to Arrested DevOps too! Maybe this is the start of something great! The podcast conversation is smooth and for someone newer to this tech world, I don't find myself lost and annoyed at all the jargon. I want to shout to the world that this is where I've learned it all from but then I'd give myself away, wouldn't I?! Well anyway. It's a good listen. I can listen to a few episodes in a day which was great when I was trying to really absorb and catch up on old episodes. I think this goes without saying, but: Recommend!

Excited about the Ops
Sadly I only just now found this podcast. As I’m looking to move from my more managery ops role to a devops type role and get dirty with the systems again, this podcast is getting me excited for everything that’s out there I don’t get to play with yet. For a job anyway. Excellent guests, great hosts, the the topics are spot on. And it’s helping me lose weight by making me want to take walks just to listen to the episodes.

Great podcast for developers and sysadmins
Fantastic podcast. The hosts sure know what they talking about, although they seem to be mostly Chef centric. Listening to this podcast will definitely benefit anyone of those who's transitioning into a DevOps role (whether they know it or not), or want to shift into this exciting new career field. Personally, as a Linux sysadmin moving into a DevOps position, this podcast has definitely given some helpful insights.

Great!
This podcast was recommended to me by a friend, and I have to say it's pretty great. He's been trying to explain DevOps to me for a while now, and figured this might help. This is the first time that I have actually really understood the concept. It really is the future of software development. The show is put together very well, and each episode is informative and fun to listen to. The hosts are great! Do yourself a favor and check this out!

Real Actionable Content - Real People
This podcast is great. First of all, the content is both exceptional and actionable. I learn multiple things each time I listen. Second, both the hosts and the guests come across as quite normal and genuine. As I listen via my phone during my commute, I feel as though I am part of the conversation, unlike and audiobook where I am just listening. I do not work in Dev Ops, but given my role and future roles, this is a area I need to come up to speed in, and as of right now, this is my #1 resource.

Two Chimps and a Mic
I stumbled across this “podcast” the other day and I am dumbfounded. It’s basically two chimps blathering away about something called DevOps. Now I have no clue what they were talking about, but they really thought they were clever, especially the one Matt that can’t seem to stop talking. Don’t get me wrong, I think it is great that kids these days have this outlet. In my day we had to have our voice recorded into a wax cylinder if we wanted to do a podcast. And we didn’t the iTunes to distribute our wax all over the Internets. Maybe if I had the iPods for the Podscast I would have done it myself when I was a youngin. And that’s why I give it five stars. I had no clue what they were talking about, and they weren’t even funny. But I loved that they would get behind a mic and make complete fools of themselves. Keep it up Mark and Travis! Bob.

Must listen for sysadmins
This show is a peer of the ship show, devops cafe, etc. You don't need to buy into devops as a fad to benefit from it - just be interested in tech and infrastructure in a serious way. Really great show.

Nice intro
A very good podcast for people who are just getting introduced to the idea of DevOps

great
A great podcast for people new to DevOps. Hosts don't take themselves too seriously, and have had some great guests on. Definitely a must-listen if you want to understand what this whole "DevOps" thing is about.
