Around Edmond was created 15 years ago to be a place for people in Edmond to come together and read about ... everything happening Around Edmond. As events and entertainment venues have increased, the blog is the most read information about what’s happening in Edmond. Now that more businesses and residents are engaging on social media, our Facebook page and Instagram accounts have become the place people go first when there is a collective event occurring. The social media reach is such that EA’s social accounts now reach more people than all of the print publications that are about and located in Edmond, including our own print magazine that was printed for 13 years. The natural progression for Around Edmond, EA’s weekly blog and for features was to offer audio recordings of the blog and features along with all new content to come, to reach as many people as possible about our great city. While considering what type of new content to concentrate on in 2024 and beyond, and while TikTok was enticing, so many are used to hearing what content they choose to engage with, and so we hope you enjoy the content I bring you on this platform!
