Very Insightful and Inspiring
Just listened to the first few podcasts podcasts posted. Very very informative. I would just like to say that the podcast interviewing Ryan was so deep. Many deep, tough conversations were discussed in terms of the mental health of working people. I feel like many people do not talk about what employees and leaders feel mentally and emotionally in a workplace because work is supposed to stay professional. But, it is so refreshing to hear “work is still going to get done.” He went so deep in the discussion of caring about the burnout of his employees because a team in good health will put that energy out into their work. Mental health is so important, not many people even think to mention their feelings to people they work with because the work industry has built a huge boundary between personal life and professional life. Of course there is a line, but “you’re adding boulders to your shoulders while you’re close to drowning” was so well said. I’ve never realized how often I also just wake up and show up with my “game face” up until this episode. Will be taking that quote with me, and I will be considering my mental health before anything. I do not want to feel that last boulder that will push me to “drowning.” I recommend this podcast to anybody, aspiring managers, working people, or any random person out there. There is something to learn in every episode, especially if you are a person in your “finding my best self” era or “protecting your peace” era.

A 10/10 Podcast
Wow, this is one of the best management podcasts I’ve listened to. Erin is bringing us into a new era of people management where we focus on developing the people on our teams and focusing on the health and well-being of our people!
