Since ancient times, humans have looked to the heavens for guidance. Astrology is considered a type of prophecy that involves the forecasting of earthly and human events through the observation and interpretation of the Sun, the Moon, the Stars and the Planets. Astrologists believe that the positions of the Sun, moon, stars and planets at the time of a person’s birth have a direct influence on that person’s character. The alignment is thought to affect a person’s destiny and life. Our guest today is an astrologist and she plans to share her experiences and use my birth chart as an example to inform our audience. Linda Elias Watson is the owner and creator of Soul Guide Astrology. She is a member of the American Federation of Astrologers. She provides readings that offer insight and guidance to better help individuals find their focus and move forward with their spiritual journey. www.soulguidastrology.com Producer: Lillie Leonardi Tech Producer: Chris Sichi Music By: George Skaroulis I Believe! Amanda Lee is not only an artist she is a highly successful businesswoman, social entrepreneur and modern day patron of young female artists. Since she could hold a crayon, Amanda has engaged in some art form. She initially learned about art from her grandmother who she fondly called “Nana”. Her first paintings were on trees. The artist still likes to use natural elements in my creative works. Murals were her initial means of income as an artist. As a business owner of a glassware studio, her first hand painted glasses reflected the Pittsburgh skyline and words like “Yinzers” which is definitely a ‘Burgh thing. “Hand painted with love and maybe a little wine” is her mantra and reflects her authentic spirit and energy. Her current project is entitled: 17 Portraits and includes collage images of significant individuals in her life. She began this project by creating an inspiring piece of her art mentor, Jay. Whether the good, bad or the ugly of these relationships, the individuals either nurtured or hindered her life. In some way, each helped her to heal and prepare her to become the impassioned woman and artist she is today. Her glassware is now available for on-line purchase in all 50 states and 30 countries globally. Amanda’s passion is collage art. www.amandaleeglassware.com Producer: Lillie Leonardi Tech Producer: Chris Sichi Music By: George Skaroulis #Divine #angels #spirit #intuition I Believe! Do You?

“I am a little pencil in God's hands. He does the thinking. He does the writing. He does everything and sometimes it is really hard because it is a broken pencil and He has to sharpen it a little more.” ~ Mother Teresa This episode shares a tale about the only American architect to ever design a building in the Vatican, The Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Louis Astorino is that architect and has written a book entitled: A Pencil In God’s Hand. In it, he shares about his journey from Pittsburgh to the Vatican and how a “God wink” graced him with a chance to design and construct The Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Louis D. Astorino founded LD Astorino and Associates in 1972. He led the corporation to prominence at an international level until his retirement in 2016. Among the hundreds of projects adopted by his firm, several stand out as witness to the Astorino legacy. These include: Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh; PNC Park, Trimont condominiums, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s facilities in Palermo, Italy and Hyderabad, India. These impressive commissions stand alongside the role of the Astorino firm in the restoration of the Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece, Fallingwater. Chosen by the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and the family of Edgar Kaufmann for this work, Lou has lectured extensively on Wright’s achievement in the design of the world-renowned house.
