Perfect for sleep deprived architecture students
I’m a graduate student pursuing my M.Arch at Woodbury University in Los Angeles. I just recently started listening to this podcast while I’m modeling/drafting/driving etc. Its a great resource for staying up to date on lots of things happening in the architecture community, such as current projects/awards, changes in NCARB & AIA, and general hot topics. As a student, its definitely given me current event topics to add to discussions in school. The interviews are especially great when they have people such as Tom Mayne and Bjarke Ingals (two of my favorites). Highly recommend!

GREAT!!!
Excellent podcast. I totally disagree in regards to 'skipping' the beginning of the podcast relating to the 'how was your weekend' 'segment' (the assortment of information from the hosts personal activities is informative and actually architecture related therefore it is NOT a waste of time). Each episode is like a course in contemporary architecture (with the show notes being the class syllabus). The podcast has a very local raw feel to it, do not want a very impersonal canned NPR feeling podcast, that's the type of bland style that would come from the AIA.

a great window into the profession!
This new podcast is a great window into the profession. Something we desperately need. The hosts cut to the heart of issues impacting the practice. Great for those of us in architecture and for those who are interested as well. I'm really enjoying listening to everyone without seeing them. Do they wear black and have bold glasses? Probably, but it doesn't matter as we have only their words to judge them on! And so far, their words are wise.

yep
good stuff! these guys have fun riffing on the architecture issues of the day. except for a little unnecessary south-bashing, all good. don't miss an episode! it's like the conversations you have with your architecture nerd friends over beer...or bourbon.

Pretty good
There aren't very many podcasts about architecture. They pick interesting subject matter and talk about it in an intelegent way. The production value is low. Listening to the hosts ask eachother about their weekends for 10 minutes at the beggining of the show is like nails on a chalk board (probably the most annoying into to a podcast I have ever heard. It is like getting trapped at a party talking to that annoying architect who won't shut up and can't see that what they are talking about is only interesting to them, if you hang around many architects this has probably happened to you. Overall if your are interested in architecture this is worth a listen, just skip the intro where the guests talk about themselves

Inspiring Podcast
This podcast takes as a base premise the fact that the architecture profession we all know and love is changing. It's changing at a speed that might leave some of us in the dust. I am enjoying hearing the many viewpoints of professionals and the guests who are not directly doing architecture now but are still related to our field. Inspiring podcast.
