Reflecting on Carl Jung's idea of archetypes, and its subsequent development to what it is now. I briefly touch upon Beebe's profoundly important deviation from Jung's original concept, and how it actually clarifies Jung's idea and makes it more useful in therapy and self-development.
The Challenge of Language in Conveying Ideas about the Mind
Here I reflect about how having an objective way to communicate an idea needs it to be codified first in a universally well-understood form. Psychology suffers from not having such a common language, whereas Mathematics does. Psychology could use ideas from Mathematics to help its own case. Analytical Psychology shows some hope in this realm.
