In this episode, I am preparing for a upcoming live stream where Derek Murrell and I will be discussing the "I" in the PROVIDE acrostic. I play some of Dr. Flowers videos where he explains the role of the Holy Spirit in salvation and how he talks about the means being sufficient in and of themselves to bring about the result God wants. I try to understand his position, looks at the definition of sufficient vs necessary causation, and look at the historical debate in the protestant reformation between grace being sufficient vs. necessary.
