What's up, AO Fam? Today's episode focuses on the erhu, also known yiwu in Cantonese. It is an ancient Chinese instrument with two strings and a bow. The story follows a young boy who becomes captivated by the instrument.  This story was written by Samuel Atkin, Alison Cheung, and Jasmine Ku. In the third iteration of our podcast, we follow a young girl as she remembers a series of supernatural events surrounding her family. This podcast was written by Michael Messina, Lily Tang, Michelle Tan, Emma Shen, and Samuel Atkin. This episode is special in that the script was finished before the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 but all but one recording was done remotely and collaborations ensued while maintaining adherence to social distancing. Hi everyone! Welcome to our second episode of AO Storytime! This episode, "Butterfly Callers," was written by the 2019-2020 President of the Asian Student Union, Mike Messina, who many of you may also know as the host of our other podcast Inside Outlook. "Butterfly Callers" is a story told through a series of voicemails between college friends. AYO Fam how's it going? Today we have a very special pilot episode to Asian Outlook's "AO Storytime"! Our first story was written by 2019-2020 Asian Outlook President Michelle Pao!
