This is the 3rd and final episode about Andrea's first archery deer and elk hunt. She talks about what makes her good at living (mostly) alone in the backcountry, a wild game exchange with her camp neighbors, more moose stories, hunting low, hunting high again, and finally getting a shot.

It's time to get to the hunt- Andrea and Matt discuss how the first week-ish of hunting went. Andrea's memory gets foggy, stories get mixed around, but Matt helps her keep it going. During the first week there was deer drama, storm drama, grouse drama, moose drama, and elk drama. Animals were spooked and tears were shed. We mix it up a little for episode three and talk to Troy Fowler, a.k.a. the Ranch Fairy. Troy runs a YouTube channel dedicated to the in vivo research of building the deadliest arrows possible. We discuss how people who are on the lower draw weight/draw length end of the archery spectrum can get their arrows dialed in to provide the greatest penetration possible on the animals they hunt.  Troy is continuing the bowhunting research begun by Dr. Ed Ashby in the 80's.
