This message was so important to our community that we decided to post, even though due to technical issues we weren't able to get it all recorded. Here is the last half of Robert's message!

Draw Near
Speaker: Robert LeeDrawing Near to GodBecause of Jesus, we are no longer far from God—we’ve been brought near by His blood (Ephesians 2:13). When the temple veil was torn from top to bottom, it wasn’t just a moment in history—it was an invitation. What once separated humanity from God has been removed, opening the way back to intimacy with Him, like a return to the Garden. But while every believer is near to God, not everyone experiences that nearness the same way. The difference is faith—trusting God at His word and choosing to look to Jesus (Hebrews 12:2).Faith doesn’t come from striving; it comes from hearing. As we listen to the words of Christ, read Scripture aloud, and confess truth with our mouths, our faith grows (Romans 10:17). Confession isn’t just for salvation—it’s central to a vibrant, ongoing relationship with God. When we declare who He is and what He’s done, grace is released to transform us.True worship engages our whole being—heart, soul, mind, and strength. Scripture invites us to express our faith outwardly: to sing, declare, lift our hands, and give thanks (Ephesians 5:19–20). There is power in what we speak; just as God creates through His word, our words shape our lives.Ultimately, the Christian life is about fixing our eyes on Jesus. Like the bronze serpent lifted in the wilderness, healing and life come when we simply look to Him in faith. Instead of judging ourselves by our own thoughts—which are often unreliable—we align with God’s truth and His thoughts toward us (Psalm 139).Our response is simple:Agree with God’s truth, repent of lies, confess faith out loud, and give thanks continually. This is how we draw near—by abiding in Him, listening to His voice, and living a life of faith-filled worship.
