So excited you're posting on the podcast feed again! Can you post audio versions of the video content for listening in the car without burning data?

You helped me learn so much about world history. I have been looking for a history podcast that is clean. Thank you. But More Episodes please

I was given extra credit in my class for my WAP class. Though at first I procrastinated on it. I now realize this was a glorious gift of entertaining studying!

This podcast is a pure gem. I love that it’s a good refresher for me as a teacher, but also I can assign it to my students or listen to it in the car with my husband. She covers a lot of audiences and that’s hard to do with history. It’s also simple but comprehensive, which is also hard to do. All around just great and I’m grateful to have access to this. Thank you!

Really enjoy the podcast. Is there anyway to get episodes before ep101?

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your podcast series it is helping me so much in whap!!

You make learning fun! I wish you could have met my history teacher at Milby High school in Houston (Mr Bill McGill). He made learning fun and engaging. I thank you thank you.

Very easy to digest and fun way to learn Hx.

I really enjoy the way this podcaster breaks down complicated history. I’m an English teacher but this podcast has me thinking I should’ve majored in history instead! Love the content!

This is a great podcast to get a big picture view on history and the historical context of current events. She often moves focus from people that often get highlighted to the people who didn't “win history” and get to tell their own story. Give it a listen!

Emily does a fantastic job of explaining history in a fun and accurate way. It’s not completely euro centric and gives great detail about what was going on in the world at different times. Love this!

The early episodes are really useful for studying and understanding the later units in AP World History Modern

I can’t say more. The podcast is informative and entertaining.

I just want to say that I’ve followed Emily on TikTok and liked a bunch of her content. Finding out about her podcast recently, made me want to go and give the podcast a listen and just educate myself over and over again. As a history lover, I’m always learning more and more here and will happily continue to listen to the podcast. Wishing you all the best and can’t wait for more and more content.

I’ve followed Anti-Social Studies on TikTok for a long time now and I’ve always enjoyed Emily’s content. As a social studies teacher and avid history lover, you can imagine how thrilled I was to realize she has this podcast. Just incredible stuff! A++

One of my fav podcasts. I’m listening for a 2nd time. Thanks

I’m late to the game. I caught onto this podcast a couple weeks ago, but I’ve already binged through half of Season 3. I love that she has the same sense of humor and dorkiness as me. It’s refreshing to find another history buff who can talk about it without it sounding like a lecture. Also, sidenote, listening to the Season 2 episodes in 2022-2023 is a brutal “hindsight is 20/20” moment. Thanks Emily!!!!!

I will watch Selma, Mrs. America, and the others you mentioned. 😜😁

Thank you for bringing these stories to life through your podcast! As a teacher, I really appreciate the detail and enthusiasm you bring to these subjects. Social studies is all about the stories and you tell them well!

This show is so well done! I love the history.

Unfortunately, the information is slanted towards a woke attitude

This podcast is so informative and easy to follow! Awesome!!

I found this podcast through TikTok and I’m so happy about it. Emily really explains things well and simply so that there is never any confusion on the matter. Big big fan!!

So glad you have a podcast! I first found you on TikTok and 3 minutes is not enough! Your students are so lucky to be in your class!!🤩

I am so great full I found you! I use to hate learning history because it was always taught to me by old men but this podcast is so refreshing and fun to listen to

I started listening to study for the CSET (teacher’s exam) and loved it so much I became addicted. Also…I passed all my exams and some of my answers derived directly from this podcast! Entertaining and informational is my jam and this podcast nails it. Love it.

I love this podcast! After Emily telling me at the start of every podcast to rate it here I am! I started listening as an apush student but now I finally done and I just enjoy learning about history. Highly recommend!

I’m so glad I found this podcast. please make more podcasts on the period of 1450-1700 of Ap World. It’s one of the first resources for Ap World History that actually sticks in my brain. THANK YOUUUUUUUU!!!!

I listen to these podcasts as a great refresher before my exams, especially if I don’t want to sit down and work. Listening to these on a go is my favorite! Thank you!!

I love learning from amazing educators and I’ve learned so much! Your students are lucky to learn from you!

I’m studying for my CSET (California Subject matter proficiency tests) to become a HS soc teacher, and these are filled with great info!! Plus I know they will be useful in the classroom!

Great overview of history from the teacher you wish you had when you were in school.

I used this podcast in my history classes and my kids loved it! I also enjoy just listening for fun. Love it!

I adore this podcast. I teach high school World History. This is a go to for me and something I enthusiastically share with my students.

I am a middle school US history teacher and I listened to all of the world history and US history episodes to help me review for my National Boards certification exam. These were super helpful, entertaining, and honest about our history. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this, Emily and admire your work. Keep it up! Your students are lucky to have you.

This podcast is the best. I used this to review for the AP World exam last year and the APUSH exam this year and it was extremely helpful (I got a 4 on World and a 5 on APUSH), as well as entertaining. Emily is an awesome host. I’m not in history class anymore (maybe there can be an AP Gov edition somehow?), but I’m still listening to the new episodes because of how fascinating it is! Thank you for making this :)

I absolutely LOVE this podcast! I came for the US history content, but I am definitely going to go back and listen to the world history content! I love the context and insight provided by Emily, it’s always simultaneously hilarious and poignant. I plan to talk the ears off of all of my friends about this podcast because it’s just that good! :)

The history is on point, the humor is hilarious, and the pop culture references make my history nerd heart so happy!

I LOVE this show! It really helped me in my history class, especially during quarantine. Keep up the good work!

I learned about Emily’s podcast after listening to her live review sessions for AP World History which helped me understand the course so much better!! This history podcast has great content, and at the same time is hilarious. I recommend this podcast to anyone seeking a bit more knowledge about the past and a laugh too.

Just finished my AP World course and after binging all of her youtube videos I couldn’t get enough so I’ve started listening to these podcasts. They’re absolutely wonderful so funny and informative! Hope she never stops!

This is by far the coolest thing I have listened to in a long time! These podcasts are informative, accurate and very, very palatable. I am also an AP High School teacher and I am so excited I found these and will be using them with my students and recommending them to anyone who enjoys history. Keep up the great work!

Using this to help me review for the Praxis II social studies content exam. So useful and interesting. Thank you!!!

Each podcast provides a great overview of the “ big picture” ideas. It’s a good balance between depth and coverage. This is a great resource for AP World History!

As a fellow teacher of World History my students and I love this podcast! Emily makes complex historical topics and themes easy to understand and ties them back to pop culture my students enjoy. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to brush up on some history!

As a current grad student in a Masters in Teaching program this show is simultaneously entertaining and inspirational. Thank you for showing a glowing personality currently working in education. Love it!
