After an earth-changing event causes disruption and civil war along the East Coast, 17-year-old Kory Hernandez is sent from her home in Queens to the relative safety of the Midwest. Living with a host family in Keensboro, Illinois, a small town battling the impact of climate change, Kory feels cut off and powerless, unsure of her place in this new world. Anomaly is a fictional sci-fi podcast that follows Kory as she embarks on her new life with the Miller family and discovers the consequences of trusting the wrong people.

17-year-old Kory Hernandez arrives in Keensboro, her new temporary home. She is completely unprepared for life on a farm, let alone one working at the cutting edge of sustainable science. Kory feels out of sorts with her new foster family, the Millers, and searches for solace on the farm’s short-wave radio, hoping to find word about her family back home in Queens, New York.
