A week after accidentally deleting a critical notes folder on my Gaming PC (which I foolishly use for holding Text Files) and frantically restoring them, a tweet from the Sickos about an RPG supplement they wrote for made me realize I was missing my note file listing cool stuff on itch.io. Turns out a bunch of files hadn't been recovered properly! I was able to restore them eventually (including "Netrunner.md" where I record all the dumb ways I've flatlined). But if it wasn't for these brave Posters shilling their work, I would never have known my overcomplicated note syncing system had been so borked. Their podcast is also good.

Usually when you find someone who’s this level of turbo nerd you’d find them pretending they could do a kamamahameha and saying curse words like they’d get it trouble if their mom heard them say it. These two have somehow subverted the norm and are reasonably well adjusted while being nerdy entertaining. Keep it up!

This show has my favorite description of Hunter x Hunter. Gon’s dad went out for cigarettes one day which led Gon to believe that cigarettes rule, which they do.

Found this show after someone I follow went Guesto Mode (the Andrew Sherman episode) and almost immediately was like “woah this show rips”; a few months later it’s become one of my favorite podcasts and I’ve recommended it to almost every person I know. I love an anime podcast that’s 4/5 of the time actually about the inescapability and misery of being constantly online and existing as a cog in the machine of capitalism. Joe and Tom have great rapport and play off each other in a way that feels effortless, and they’ve never been horny which I really respect

These guys are hilarious and have fantastic chemistry! This is the first anime podcast I enjoy listening to. May they never stop.

Thanks to Tom and Joe I now know the terms "whips sack" and "give me da slop". I am forever in their debt.

I listened to several episodes and chuckled and agreed and was entertained.

Anime Sickos manages to be comforting, resonant, informative, and humorous all at once. Unlike most conversation-based podcasts, this one is blessedly high on the content-to-meandering-chit-chat ratio, and even when these good sick boys go off on a tangent it remains relatable, charming (without trying too hard to be), and funny as heck. I usually hate it when podcast hosts laugh at their own goofs, but when Tom shrieks, for me that is very good to listen to. If you love deep friend internet mems, hate Twitter but are a compuslive user of it, loathe your job, and still possess a pre-adolescent admiration for Sesshomaru's whole drip, this is a podcast for you.

Anime Sickos is the kind of content I crave. Nerdy to the bone marrow, yet self-aware and good-hearted. The hosts connect their media obsessions with real life themes and values, because they understand that art and entertainment shouldn’t just be vacations from life; they should enrich and inform our lives. Plus they make me bust a gut on the regular.

A truly wonderful show examining the self loathing that’s intrinsic with simply existing within the confines of late capitalism.

The quadrangle of human misery is a lens which focuses an extreme brilliance philosophical laser beam that cuts to the heart of the modern 21st century suffering manifest in the Western world. Our Sisyphean work and leisure activities may slowly grind us to a fine powder, but some stuff still just rules. Learn to love and loathe modernity in equal measure with this incredible addition to the two guys talking about stuff genre of podcast.

Never before has life been succinctly diluted into four pillars. Viewing your entire life through this lens is both frightening and freeing. I am both frightened and free. Anyway listen to these babies! They are smart and wise babies
