Anatomy On The Go
Anatomy On The Go
Seth Jump
In this podcast, you can learn anatomy wherever you go, driving in the car, at the gym, or doing work around the house. The first episodes will introduce you to the human anatomy systems. Additional episodes will be dedicated to directly answering your anatomy questions and providing resources to help you learn more effectively, quickly, and with less stress.
The Last Call for Anatomy
This is the Last Call — like closing time at a bar, and also literally the last general anatomy episode on this show. Let me explain further. I have taught anatomy and physiology for a good number of years, both in the physical classroom and online. I have interacted with lots of students and know the pitfalls, the strategies that tend to work for students, and what makes sense. I thought about a little scenario in my head which is actually not too far from reality since our daughter is going into healthcare. She has asked me for help with anatomy terms and how to keep them straight, and for advice about muscles and how to understand their actions and attachments. So, like the last call, I’m extending it to how I can help you personally. What if a good friend came to me (and let’s just say you were the friend) and said, "Seth, can we meet at a bar or restaurant, have a drink or some food? And can you share what you know with me? Can you give me some tips and share some shortcuts?" I know that I would love it if someone did this for me with something I’m trying to learn whether it be some sort of home project, video production, martial arts, etc. And I would have especially loved it if someone did this for me when I was learning anatomy. So, that’s what I’m doing in this episode. Care to join me? Let's go!

Episode 80 - The Connections between Anatomy Systems
One strategy you could use to help you remember and understand human anatomy systems is to determine how systems connect with one another. You might find this fascinating and interesting anyway, which makes it doubly effective. It’s good for remembering and understanding and it draws your attention and interestIn the second part of the episode, I provide a bit of a framework for how to structure your studies, what elements to include to make anatomy studying effectiveWhat systems are we connecting and what are the elements?Listen in to find out!

Episode 79: The Why and What For for the Upper Body Bone Structures
There are hundreds and hundreds of muscles right? So, since there are hundreds of muscles and each muscle has two attachments, origin and insertion, that’s a lot to keep track of. Let’s break it down just to the attachments for some of the muscles of the upper limb so you can get a win and really nail those down.
