An Acquired Mind Podcast

An Acquired Mind

Seth
The purpose of this podcast is to address the growing mental health crisis in the US and more specificly the US Military. Right now, 22 veterans a day commit suicide. While not all are due to mental health, some are, and if there is anyway that we can help one, this podcast is a great success. 1 in 5 Americans deal with mental health issues and as someone who also deals with mental health issues I want to tell people how I got to a place where I can healthily manage my anxiety, depression and panic attacks. I am also passionate about leadership and discipline and I will cover both of these topics as well. Charlie Foxtrot is phonetic for CF and these letters are a acronym for cluster fuck. Which is exactly what the mind feels like when we are experiencing anxiety, depression, ptsd, and other mental health issues. I am not an expert in the field of mental health but I deal with these issues and lead a relatively healthy life, where I am able to attack my goals daily. I will go into depth on the different things I did to get to a point where my mental health issues are not holding me back. I am a veteran and understand the problems that veterans are dealing with. I am excited to embark on this journey and look forward to the challenges that are inevitable with this type of thing.
