Howdy ! Happy February !  Today I have an episode about traveling by yourself, since that is what I am currently doing. I had a lot of fun editing this episode because it is quite messy and has a bit of everything in. Take what you will, leave aside other things. Hola chiquites 💌 Hoy regresamos con una conversación bastante controversial, pero bastante necesaria al mismo tiempo. Esta reflexión surgió al escuchar a nuestra ícona Julia Fox hablar sobre por qué ella cree que ser musa es contribuir a la narrativa patriarcal. Alimento esta conversación de la teoría de Laura Mulvey "Placeres visuales y cine narrativo" (1975), así como teorías de psicoanálisis, y como siempre, mi opinión y experiencia personal.  He estado trabajando estas últimas semanas en mi exposición de arte y en enviar trabajo de foto a repostas y galerías en otros países, y cada vez que me abro una oportunidad que me he ganado, trabajado y merecido, me llega un fuerte sentimiento de culpa y de "síndrome del impostor". Lo cuál NO NOS SIRVE A NADIE menos a las mujeres artistas! Así que esto también contribuye a mi pasión por explorar temas de dinámicas e género, y la representación visual, cultural y social que tenemos las mujeres en la actualidad, de la cual, siempre podemos añadir nuestra propia versión, y cambiar cómo nos representar, y por consecuente, cómo elegimos vernos a nosotras mismas. Hello, and welcome to our first voice memo! Welcome to November!  🕯️💌🪩🌞📝☕️🧚🏽‍♀️🫶🏼 In this voice memo we will discuss why at some point in life we have all thought that we "suck" at love, and that it might not be "our thing". I am fascinated by the various definitions and looks we have given love particularly on mainstream media and how we have socialised that term to be exclusively connected to romance and finding another half. Today we will explore this idea and enrich it from a perspective that I have taken from cultures that celebrate life bonds of all sorts , which have helped me create more meaningful relationships, letting love in my life in various forms. because no one is "bad" at love, or loving, or being loved- our collective definition of it, might be!  Feliz día de muertos!
