Someone asked me on the day of Tagore's anniversary if I would like to record on the same day one of his poem in Bangla. I'm not a Bangla speaker at all but as a language teacher I found the challenge interesting. Unfortunately this person did not find my bangla good enough to deign to publish it. Despite certain errors i still want to share it with you. I'm sure Tagore would have appreciated it.
