Paulo Machado was born and raised in Sao Jorge, Azores, Portugal. He emigrated to the United States in 1989 at the age of 12 with his family. Today Paulo works full time as a Health & Safety Manager for Cemex, one of the largest cement producing companies in the world. Paulo is also the proud owner of Paulo Machado Photography & Video. A small photo and video business that provides both photo and video services locally. One of Paulo's hobbies is to carve pumpkins. He owns a YouTube channel with nearly 8000 subscribers. In this YouTube channel he shows how he carves his wonderful pumpkins. Paulo also has appeared in Good Day Sacramento several times and he carves live at pumpkin patches for people to see his craft.

Tsunamiz is the stage name of Bruno Sobral, a Portuguese musician, singer-songwriter and producer known for his fusion of various musical genres ranging from alternative rock to electronic music. Diniz Borges was born in Praia da Vitória. Terceira, Acores. At the age of 10 emigrated with his family to the United States. Holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in literary studies from Chapman University, and a Masters in the Humanities from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Taught Portuguese Language and Culture at Tulare Union High School for 22 years, where he was chair for the World Languages Department for 12 years. Also taught Portuguese at the College of the Sequoias for 20 years. Was selected Outstanding California World Language teacher in 2017, the first time and only time thus far that the California Language Teacher Association selected a Portuguese language teacher to receive this award. Presently is adjunct faculty at the California State University Fresno where he directs the Portuguese beyond Borders institute, the Azorean Diaspora Center and hosts the Portuguese-American Hour daily radio show. Has been involved in the Portuguese community since the age of 17, when he started in Portuguese radio, and has served many organizations at the local, state, and national level, including directing and hosting for 29 years a television show in Portuguese on the Catholic Station, KNXT channel 49 in Fresno: Os Portugueses no Vale. Has published 10 books in Portuguese and translated and published fiction, non-fiction, and poetry from Portuguese to English.

Chris Peichoto is a first generation born American to parents who migrated to California from the Island of Pico Azores, Portugal. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 2003 and served as an Infantry Assualtman until 2007 with two deployments to Iraq. Currently, he is a Forçado for Aposento de Turlock, where he started in 2009.

Alcides Machado continues to in the music industry as a performer, producer and promoter.Besides music, Alcides has dedicated most of his time to his foundation Bom Samaritano in Hilmar, California as an outreach director and counselor. Soon he will be opening a branch of his services in Azores.

Falicia Arruda is 30 years old, and is a Portuguese-American from "Little Portugal" San Jose, California. She loves many different forms of art, including theater, all things beauty, Carnaval & Cantorias. She enjoys cooking and writing; that is what she enjoys most! She had written poems as well as for Carnaval dances. Her father, Daniel Arruda, was a great writer and legendary improvised singer (Cantorias) of our Portuguese community!

Fábio Ourique é natural da freguesia de São Mateus de Terçeira Açores. Em Agosto de 2008 (com 16 anos), canta pela primeira vez em público, numa noite de fado na freguesia da Fonte do Bastardo. Nesta noite de estreia foi acompanhado pelo Tio avô João Esconena (Guitarra Portuguesa), e pelo seu primo Tiago Lima (Viola de Fado). Fábio Ourique além de Fadista é cantador ao improviso. Tem vários escritos para Carnaval, Fados e comédias. Para além da ilha Terceira, tem cantado pelas nossas ilhas, Canadá, na Costa Leste e Califórnia (EUA),Bermudas e Cabo Verde. A 24 de Abril de 2015 lançou o seu primeiro trabalho discográfico intitulado "Mar". O seu segundo trabalho intitulado "Taberna" em parceria com o primo e sócio Tiago Lima foi lançado em Abril de 2019. In addition to Terceira, he has sung throughout the Azores islands, Canada, the East Coast and California (USA), Bermuda and Cape Verde. On April 24, 2015 he released his first record work entitled "Mar". His second work entitled "Taberna" in partnership with his cousin and partner Tiago Lima was released in April 2019. He is one of the partners of the only Fado house on Terceira island “A Taberna do Fado”, a house that opened in November 2017 .
