I really miss this show 😥

I’ll patiently await your return but my morning routine won’t be the same 😢I get up very early for work and AM quicky is the only up to date news show I can listen to for today’s news. Also, I’ve timed my morning showers to it’s short format, I had a good thing going 😭 I’ll miss y’all!

I love this podcast.

The Seder media empire expands with this lively, well-written little daily news nugget. When I need to take a news fast, this little 7m hit us all I need to know to not sound like Ted Kasinsky just off the compound if a truly important news event occurs. I could do with cutting Jon Benjamin’s ‘vocal stylings’ back.

Five stars to the Majority Report’s AM Quickie! I’m a 72 year old Leftist. I rely on this 5 minute news brief to start my day locked and loaded for what’s coming throughout the day. Sam, Lucy, et al are brilliant with their oftentimes sarcastic delivery. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I need to laugh once in awhile! Cheers!!

This succinct news run-down will give you the knowledge you need to make the decisions necessary for the coming revolution.

I am far left politically but the tone and genera in professionalism of this podcast are incredibly offputting. I can not imagine this is effective in building support for the positions the hosts espouse and am inclined to think it pushes any and all fence sitters away. There are good rational arguments to be made for moving to a Finnish style system for example but none of them come through in this podcast which comes across like a tinfoil hat diatribe.

I’m an older left-wing liberal and I gotta’ say, the actual news on this podcast is great but as I have found with several other podcasts, the har-har sarcasm and “reading rainbow” sound affects are really off putting.

Sam, Lucy, and Michael are honest, funny, and brilliant. They are prophets for our time, speaking the truth in an age where truth seems to mean absolutely nothing. I am so grateful for their courage and wisdom.

Lucie makes this brilliantly written news digest hum. Got 5 minutes? Lucie will make you wince-giggle as our democracy crumbles and you contemplate the complete chaos that was your life. And, there’s someone named “Sam”.

A really nice news update every morning

Sam is an insightful and thoughtful commentator who doesn’t let his political views get in the way or blind his concise and reasoned analysis of the major stories. I love the deep dives of the majority report, but this is a great morning amuse bouche for the latest headline events and attempted, or current assaults on our democracy.

I subscribed to this thinking it was about the affair between Right Wing Mandela and Josh’s mom. Turns out it is a brief news summary. But it’s still worth listening to...

Saying Pete Buttigieg is gross is wrong. If you can’t be objective then be quiet. I’m turning you off permanently

Have been listening to AM Quickie every morning since the first episode when it was on the main MR feed. Perfect briefing on the way to work (on the west coast) for those who are disconnected from news during the workday to catch what’s going on, and preview what will likely be the focus on the day’s main show.

Even though I am a regular Majority Report listener and member, I initially didn’t think that I would listen to this, but indeed I do. A short capsule of news with a MR take is pretty helpful. Nice to have a quickie every morning 😏

Sam bullied me to subscribe by inserting constant reminders into the Majority Report & guess what: it worked. Good stuff. Tough stuff. Very strong.
