Once a month I will take a break from normal reviewing and review something a bit less down to Earth - something in A Parallel Universe. What if Winnie the Pooh worked in the adult industry, what if Kurt Cobain was still alive, and what if clothes had never been invented? All these what if's and more are questioned in this bizarre episode of my podcast. The first of my parallel episodes will be on 14th May 2022 and every second Saturday of the month thereafter. If you like it weird and strange, with a dose of humour, then listen in to these episodes.

In this episode, I will be reviewing the topic of the paranormal - discussing my own experience, as well as answering one question: is it real, or just the imagination running riot? In this open-minded discussion, I will outline my experience with a haunted balloon, a ghost who always flushes the toilet (thankfully disposing of all that dark matter!) and talking to Billy using a toe. If you are skeptical about the subject or a firm believer, have a listen and decide for yourself whether what I experienced may have been real or just my imagination running riot.

In this episode, I will be reviewing music festivals - the episode centres around my own experience of attending Download Festival in Donington for many years, but I'm sure there are plenty of details which apply to other music festivals too! I relay anecdotes of getting stuck in the mud, inappropriate clothing, being assaulted by security and encounters with dark matter in the portable toilets. I then wrap it up with a skeptical review, followed by answering the episode's question: are music festivals worth going to?

Alternative Reviews For Skeptics is a podcast dedicated to all things alternative - whether that's cult books and films, music or just an alternative view of the world. I will examine a range of subjects from the cradle to the grave in a skeptical way, with some humour and anecdotes too. Every month I will host an episode called "A Parellel Universe", in which I tackle the burning "What If?" questions - like what if Winnie the Pooh worked in the adult film industry, or Kurt Cobain was still alive? If you're intrigued, come back for those topics to be mulled over and debated.
