I really enjoyed the interview with Britt Hartley about her book.

This series was OK until it got to the homophobia episode. That episode really exposed the lack of thought and understanding these hosts have for people who have opposing views. They strawman every argument, and really did damage to their side. I wanted to give this podcast, an honest shot, and I did, as a deconstructing person of a different faith. However, I can’t listen to people who don’t truly understand their oppositions point of view.

Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with Phil McLemore! He is very inspiring and thought-provoking - thank you for having him on the podcast.

I think this podcast is helping me move on from all the bitterness I was holding onto from being Mormon for almost 4 decades.

This is literally my favorite online discussion happening right now. Bill and Britt confront deep issues from many angles and with full heart. Britt comes very prepared and always teaches me something. I come away feeling I have heard from people who have fully lived and learned the lessons they discuss, which is why they are so conversant in them. I look forward to their continuing discussions and am happy to support this kind of dialogue any day.

Bill and Mekael are a breath of fresh air and exactly what I have been needing in a podcast. They are funny, insightful, and incredibly knowledgeable. Their vulnerability and openness in discussing and exposing their lives gives the listeners direction on how to bring vulnerability into their own lives. If you are looking for a more authentic and healthy way to navigate and explore the messiness of life, this podcast is for you.

I think many of us are sensing that old traditions and paradigms are only of value if they uplift self and others. Anything that doesn’t fit within that definition should be discarded as they ultimately keep us from developing. That development is the “awakening” that Mekael and Bill seem to be aiming for. I’m thoroughly enjoying my journey alongside these wonderful people.

The topics thus far have been very thoughtful and emotionally provoking. Maekel and Bill have a way of finding meaningful pathways through complex subjects. I’m looking forward to hearing more.

Rarely in Podcasts do you get people who are so open about their shadows and who are doing their best to present them selves authentically. On top of that you get the most interesting conversations around being a human being. What an awesome podcast.
