I don't know what intangible forces pushed these two goddesses together but I am endlessly thankful that this podcast exists as a result . and not to sound like a freak but oftentimes I fall asleep with their voices playing from my phone speaker underneath the pillow . hilarious and necessary

There are a few things in life I look forward to. Topping the list are: Summer nights, clearance sales at Oak, new Bjork albums and Allegedly NYC episodes. But unlike the other things on that list, Allegedly NYC happens far more frequently. Like, practically weekly. Ava and Nomi are a constant source of laughter, insight and entertainment. I listen to them at home mostly becuase when I listen to them on the L train, I have, on numerous occasions burst out laughing. On the L, laughter outbursts gain more disapporoving stares than loud sneezes. So I laugh out loud freely in the comfort of my own home, feeling like I'm hanging out with two of my friends... except I'm in my underwear, preparing a Trader Joe's frozen dinner. But to be real, Alledgdly NYC does far more than spill the T on celeb gossip. Waaay beyond that. Allegedly NYC brings a diverse and interesting array of guests to share what they are inspired by, their stories, their truths. Ava and Nomi aren't afraid to bare all, and their candor is infectious. Their judgement free, sex positve, open dialog is insightful. I love what they are doing and I want it to go on forever. When an episode ends it's like heading home after a fun night out with friends; Those nights when your smile lingers as you walk at a liesurely pace.

I also relate. Such a great mix of topics from things I know nothing about to topics that hit close to home. No matter who you are you will feel a part of this show. You will find yourself hunting up some wine and a tea cup. You will start talking back, as if you were there. You will love this!

I look forward to every episode (I'd put in your earbuds if you're listening to this in the office like I do but expect some akward eyes when you LOL). I've been a long time Nomi fan and J6 obsessed for years and years now. The thing that I love most is that I get to know one of my favorite artists in a whole new way and it has totally affected the way I listen to her music, in a really good way. But, this show also brought me Ava. Warning... she's going to become the devil on your shoulder! This podcast is absolutely ridiculous, hilarious, educational, fun, offensive.... and I absolutely love it. Both Nomi and Ava have a chemistry like no other. You can tell that these two are the best of friends and hearing them talk feels like I'm eavesdropping on some really juicy gossip overheard in the ladies bathroom at a Michelin star restaurant in NYC, goss up that happens to have a lesson
