In this episode, three women discuss three very different hair journeys, but one fact about how black women and their hair are perceived in society. 

They'll discuss:

• Their different upbringings 
• What was deemed as beautiful hair within the black community
• Living up to unrealistic standards
• Where the perceptions of their hair came from and the effects it has on their self-esteem growing up
• Not wanting to carry the same ideals as their parents and wanting to break the generational cycle
• What is the natural hair movement and what does it look like for today and future generations
