
Matt Chilvers is an autistic level 2 tennis coach, who since the age of 15 has dedicated his time to making tennis more inclusive. Matt is on the Sport and Recreation Youth Advisory Panel, won the Diana award for changing perception of disability sport and also won the 2018 Sports Personality Unsung Hero for the East Midlands. He also volunteers at his tennis club where he runs sessions for people affected by cancer, inclusive tennis sessions, tennis for older people with sight impairment and much more. Matt talks about how tennis has helped him in dealing with his autism, the experiences he has had competing, and what he would like to see happen to grow participation in disability tennis.
