To be “all in” is an invitation to trust God with all that God has entrusted to us. God invites us to give because God knows that giving helps us to be part of something that is bigger than ourselves. God invites us to give because God knows that giving grows our gratitude. God invites us to give because God knows that when we give – of our love, time, talents, and resources – we can give an eternal legacy of love.

Jesus’ final commandment was to go and share with others the good news of his love for all people. As followers of Jesus, we are a people on a mission to go, serve and love, one another, our community and beyond. When we do so, we will experience growth and enable others to encounter the love of Jesus.

If we want to have relationships that are healthy and life-giving, we must consistently invest time, effort, and love into those who matter the most to us. This is true of our relationship with God too. If we want to grow in our faith and experience meaningful connection with God and each other we need to invest time, effort and love in these most important relationships in our lives!

There are some things that just can’t be done alone. Imagine a baseball or basketball game with only one player. Or a television show with only one actor. Or a family reunion with only one family member in attendance. Imagine a worship service at Hamilton Mill with one member present. An invitation from Jesus, to follow Jesus is an invitation to do life and ministry like Jesus, in community. We gather to encourage, support and pray for one another. We gather for renewal and guidance. We gather to remember and celebrate God’s goodness. We gather to worship God.
