In week two of our At The Movies series, Pastor Jaron shows a timely movie based on the unlikely relationship between a civil rights activist and a local Ku Klux Klan leader during the summer of 1971, opposing the desegregation of schools in Durham, N.C. As enemies who oppose every aspect of the other, both characters are forced to look past their difference and face the reality that there are commonalities between them and as professing Christians, both have to face the reality that you can't hate someone and love Jesus.

We’re celebrating like crazy the fact that Jesus is alive! Because of Easter, everything has changed. Death has lost its sting and sin has lost its power. We’re throwing a party to celebrate the fact that Jesus did not stay dead, and discovering what it looks like to follow Jesus on this side of Easter.

We’re leaning into the power of who Jesus is, what He did on the cross, and the fact that He didn’t stay dead. Jesus was God’s plan from the beginning to redeem us back to God. Jesus came to meet us in our rebellion, and lead us back into a relationship with God. Jesus is the solution that we’ve all been looking for.

We’re continuing our relationships series by helping our students identify what voices are influencing their choices and pre-decide how they are going to respond in difficult situations by defining where they want to be in the future.

In Part 1 of a 2 part special on defining the relationship, we take a look at how our relationships with others, both digital and physical and how God created us with value and valuable things deserved to be protected...especially in relationships.

In the last message of our Wise Choices series, Pastor Jaron talks about how wisdom sees every moment as a defining moment. Because every moment demonstrates who you are and defines who you will become.

In this episode, Pastor Jaron continues in our series "Wise Choices" and looks at the reality and the difference between knowledge and wisdom. Google is a great place to find knowledge, but it’s not the best place for wisdom. Wisdom comes from knowing God. We want students to know that knowledge is knowing better, but wisdom is living better.

In this week's message, we look tan the reality that experience by itself is a crappy teacher. You need to add wisdom to the equation to learn how to get from here to there. We want students to feel confident that God can use their experiences to help their future, and to feel comforted that they have people leaders, friends, parents, etc.) who want to help them develop wisdom. 

In the start of a brand new series on Wise Choices, Pastor Jaron introduces the idea that we all want to get from "here to there" but we are stuck trying to figure out what that means for us. How do we use the clout that God has given us, while seeking wisdom which can only come from Him, to help get us from "here to there" and give our live value, purpose and significance.
